Here before half of the community loses their minds again.
Jokes aside, big thanks to you and the dev team for your amazing works. Looking forward to seeing what the future holds.
I feel compelled to leave this here since there seems to be a number of people asking for X mod to be added to the base game.
Jundroo can not add community-contributed mods to the base game without risking potential legal issues (unless some sort of special legal agreement is made, but I doubt the devs would bother with that).
The reason we have mods like Fine Tuner and Overload added to the game by default is because they were made by game developers who implemented the features when they became a part of the developer team.
The only mods that have a chance of being implemented are the ones made by one of the devs (such as WNP78), and it's likely that they have no plans to add them anytime soon if they haven't already (for example: Underwater Camera).
To add on to this, Andrew stated in the blog "Sadly, this means that SP updates will continue to be on pause for the foreseeable future, though we will roll out updates to fix critical bugs if necessary."
This isn't a blog asking for update ideas, this is a blog sharing Jundroo's future plans.
Begging for X mod or X feature or X update here is going to do absolutely nothing to get it implemented.
If/when a post asking for update suggestions is made, that is the place to leave a suggestion.
This isn't meant to offend anyone. Please don't take this in as some sort of attack.

I'm not really here nor there on the topic so this probably isn't my business, I just felt the need to point out that... this is a website about building airplanes.
I'm not a hater by any means (like I said, I'm neither here nor there about it).
I just don't think it's wise to post about it here.
Generally this kind of stuff just sparks drama that's unnecessary on sites like this.
Again, not hating on anybody here, just putting that point out there.
@Randomplayer @rogerdog13 Setting the partType to Wing-2 using Overload will actually stop wing flexing.
If the aircraft itself still oscillates then you're probably flying too low. Fast aircraft are generally supposed to fly at much higher altitudes.
If one of your posts gets removed, it could be for the following reasons:
Your plane was not modified enough from its original predecessor (such as just painting it a different color or adding a insignificant component(s), assuming yours is a successor post), or is just a repost of the same thing.
Your post contained suggestive/political content.
It is a spam post.
There are more possible reasons, but these are the more common ones.
"I don't believe in failure. I believe in learning opportunities. So if something doesn't go as planned, just dust yourself off, learn from your mistakes, and try again. And if that doesn't work, just blow something up. It's very cathartic." - Cave Johnson.
You can't get banned for upvoting someone's stuff (unless you're using an alt account to upvote your own stuff). That's one of the most vital features of the website.
If the user you're referring to was below the age of 13 or broke other website rules then that is the exact cause of them being banned, and nothing else.
Also, the devs likely had nothing to do with this. The moderators handle most of these issues I believe.
It would be for PC only (mobile devices cannot have MP for a number of reasons).
Of course, at that point theres not much of an advantage for including it with the stock game.
I think this is a great idea.
I like the way SP is, and I don't think the sequel should be almost entirely different.
I like the UI and building style, and I think it should stay that way in SP2.
I've come to learn that people genuinely do not care about upload schedules.
I haven't posted any builds in almost 3 months and nobody's questioned it.
I'll make a suggestion on this topic. Why not spend more time on the quality of builds instead of the quantity? It's more rewarding and it improves your building skills.
An attention-grabbing thumbnail definitely helps, but you also have to consider what you're building.
If the build itself is uninteresting then it's unlikely to gain much attention. An eye-catching/impressive build is much more likely to gain attention.
Build performance and functionality are also a plus.
Of course, there are exceptions to this. Some users just get a larger amount of upvotes than others regardless of build quality.
Multiplayer is indeed possible to run on mobile devices (as demonstrated by Steam Link), but we only have 2-3 functional public servers at the moment.
There is absolutely no way integrated multiplayer will be feasible until we get more dedicated servers to handle so many players. The main one struggles with 10 people being connected, so there's no way it could handle 30+ on a regular basis.
If that problem was fixed though, multiplayer integration would definitely be feasible. Device strength is a limiting factor, but like you said, mobile devices are becoming stronger and more capable.
I'd like to see some rocket engines (not for rockets, but for spaceplanes and such).
Nothing crazy, no procedural stuff necessary, just some simple rocket engines that act like such.
Missiles are a bit questionable when it comes to their physics, so using them as rocket engines can be problematic.
When Jundroo can find the time to do so.
SimplePlanes isn't dead. The simple fact is that Jundroo has greater priorities at the moment with Juno (formerly SimpleRockets2).
I'd also like to note that Andrew himself stated that they would be paying more attention to SP this year. It's not improbable that we may get an update towards the middle/end of the year.
Andrew himself stated that they would be focusing more on SP this year.
A new update will come when Jundroo can find the time and reason to do so.
They're not abandoning SP, they just have larger priorities at the moment.
@Red920 I've thought about this before.
It sounds great at first, until you actually start playing MP and realize how that would work entirely differently.
I can say from my experience on MP that if it was added to the game, every public server would be overloaded. The servers can only hold several people at a time without there being substantial lag, consequently disconnecting the user from the server or crashing their game. Even players with decent computers experience lag from MP, so there is no way whatsoever that mobile devices could handle that amount of processing without significantly lagging or just not working at all.
The bots are definitely a problem, but I don't think many people want to see a bunch of "Nice try, Diddy!" comments all over the site either. Here's an example of what I mean.
Also consider the fact that they're bots; they don't care.
If the account(s) are/were actually human operated, the person behind it is doing it to troll and farm attention, so these comments are doing nothing at best, and feeding their attention at worst.
Mass-reporting, in my opinion, is always the best option in this case. It's a losing battle otherwise.
@CallsignGizmo You could try copy+pasting some of these if regular letters aren't working.

Note that these special symbols don't always work correctly and just display an error square. I haven't tested any of these recently so I don't know if they will work.
If I have an unfinished, work-in-progress build that I feel meets the requirements for this challenge, would I still be able to enter it if I've finished it before the deadline?
What I did a while back to get around this was save a few preset fuselage parts as "decorative" fuselages. No mass or drag calculations. That way I don't have to go back and disable drag/mass, one part at a time. I can just open the subassemblies menu and grab an already configured fuselage piece.
