I think an overhaul of the aerodynamics in game would be amazing. The model we have now is functional, but makes it feel like every plane flies "on rails" unless some trickery is applied in the builder. Better representation of how aircraft behave at high speeds would be welcome as well. Power to weight in the current model to me feels a bit wonky. It feels a little too easy for aircraft to climb at near vertical for quite long periods of time, and this is further exaggerated by the fact that adjusting the horsepower slider on propeller engines yields no penalty to weight. I do understand that many people do enjoy the simple physics model, so perhaps an option to enable a separate "complex physics model" would hypothetically be the way to go with this idea.
@ElGatoVolador I may try to add some of those things on this next build. Some detail lines and markings wouldn't be too hard, they'd just take a bit of time.
This is really cool. I'm guessing it was pretty difficult managing to get it this stable. It seems to be prone to flat spinning at low speeds, but it's still so cool. If the YB-35 is sever added to War Thunder, it will surely be known as the new death star.
My favorite tank gun is either the L7 or L11. Both of them have been used on NATO tanks at one point or another. My favorite tank would be the experimental T92 light tank. By the way, I believe QF stands for Quick Firing.
Something I've noticed about the carriers in the beta is that the decks appear to have massively decreased friction on their surfaces. When I spawn on either on of them, my aircraft doesn't seem to want to stay lined up with the deck, especially when the carriers are turning. I've also experienced something of a bug where the USS Beast will constantly move slightly sideways.
Found a potential bug, but I'm not real sure about it. In the designer menu, when you hover the mouse cursor over the "Airplane Charactaristics" button, it reads a description that seems to fit the "Show Drag" button.
technically, you CAN break the sound barrier with props since the sound barrier is actually a lower speed at higher altitudes because the air is less dense, making it so that soundwaves have less molecules to travel on. i probably didnt explain this well, but meh.
Man, sucks that it wouldn't fly at 80 mph. That's how fast it went irl on its first/final flight. I would fly it but I'll have to wait till tomorrow when I can use my pc because this will surely crash my kindle.
My style is more of a "make something that will perform a certain way" rather than replica building. I think both of these building styles are great, but I prefer to use the former.
@Brields95 Hm, that's an interesting thought because the tiny does move on its own and it also tries to correct it's course if you make vehicles to try and control it.
Has anyone heard of the Edmond Fitzgerald? It was a ship that looked a lot like this one and it sank in a storm. In fact it might be the same class as this ship. Looks really cool though. Unfortunately I have an older tablet so anything over 300 parts puts me at like 2 fps.

+26Missing an observation car, but you still get my up vote because this is cool and the polar express is a great movie.
+3Now this is pod racing!
+1"See those tow hooks? They look like tusks. Now what kind of animal has tusks?"
+1"A walrus"
"Didn't I just tell you to stop making up animals?"
As much as I did love to have a bomb sight in the game, it would kinda make the bomb practice mission a bit too easy.
+1I just use my xbox controller. it works great. hint hint
+1This is pretty cool. I downloaded it and modified it to hover without the gyro.
lol when you said it was next to impossible to land, I took it as a challenge to land it
Reminds me of the Die Spinne Zepellins from Crimson Skies on the original Xbox.
Looks kind of like the battle gear from Metal Gear Solid 5.
I might make something for this once I've finished my current build.

@ElGatoVolador Thank you! And stay tuned, I plan to make a twin seat fighter-bomber soon.

I try, but the plane is pretty heavy as is. I may try to add more detail in a future version. Thanks! @ElGatoVolador
lol I released the smoke pods and somehow the plane exploded and accelerated the cockpit to 30k mph.
So, how does this work? I'm guessing it's just a missile with no thrust and infinite fuel.

Dude, this is really cool.
Hey, this plane was in Ace Combat 5. Cool build!
@AndrewGarrison Ah, yes that worked. Thanks, I feel kind of silly now, that was such a simple fix.
@AndrewGarrison
All we know is... he's called the stig!

looks like the textron-airland scorpion. it was made from parts manufactured by existing cessna aircraft to cut down on costs.
EDIT - oh wait, someone already guessed it lol.
Dude, this is cool. Galaga is probably one of my favorite arcade games, and this plane recreates it very well.
Best. Description. Ever.

used to, but i lost the disk between the time my old pc broke and when i got a new one, so i cant re-install yet.
pretty cool! the rudder actually yaws the plane, what kind of magic makes THAT happen?
Hm, I'll have to try this next time I want to try to learn xml nodding.

Lol thanks @Skua, I'll be using this a lot more now.
Alright, I have the PC version. Are the controls listed in the key bindings settings?
@Skua
I just use my xbox 360 controller with a USB cord
Is there a way I can put two of these in a row? Like a old-timey biplane's tandem cockpits?
Lol these posts are pretty funny. Have a safe flight man.
AHH GOD! Santa! I need a steam card santa!
Holy crap, that's such a long hype train there. Lol.

Lol error 404 page not found. Awesome :D
Aw yeah, Howard Hughes and TWA ftw!
@Flightsonic "graphics, sound, and gyro controls" are already in the game. There's a settings tab in the main menu.
I do, and I think @IStoleYourMeme does too. Pretty sure I shot down his pe-8 the other day.
Lol I actually shot down @IStoleYourMeme while he was flying one of these in War Thunder yesterday.
I've had similar issues to this. Most of the time when it happens to me it's from parts clipping, or extreme wing flex.
@Brields95 Hm, that's an interesting thought because the tiny does move on its own and it also tries to correct it's course if you make vehicles to try and control it.
Oh cool. I managed to accidentally make italics in a forum comment a while back, but other than that I didn't know how to do any of this stuff.
