@goboygo1 @MrCOPTY got bored so I Calculated how many planes there are on the site. There are 31,750 pages of airplanes, so there is about 762,000 planes on the site
@asteroidbook345 there is a global RPM limit for everything except for rotators that actively spin things. The wheel drive linked below actually goes faster than the limit, though not very much above
@asteroidbook345 using linear actuators might work for swashplate movement as they are not wobbly, and you can just use car wheels to spin the rotor. (Wheels have traction on other parts now, here is an example)
@Ren it still annoying that you can't search up just curated craft on the site, or let us curators curate builds other than our own from the website. Maybe if I can figure out how to use tampermonkey, I can make a script that filters out planes. Windows takes AGES to search a hard drive, easily 10 minutes with a speedy SSD, think over an hour with an HDD
Though I do agree that we need a better search, it's incredibly difficult to do so in a timely manner (open up the file browser on your PC, go to the C:/ drive, then search up a random file and you will see what I mean)
.
For now, select the tags you want, then press CTRL+F to quickly see if the plane you want is there. On chrome android, press the 3 dots then press find in page
@SheriffHackdogMCPE @asteroidbook345
Use search operators to refine what you search for, and exclude what you don't want, here is a link to all of them.
After some searching, I have concluded that a VR MiG-25 currently does not exist, unless you count this (I put the tag on there, it wasn't there originally)
I have figured out how to make a linear actuator act like a suspension spring and a piston at the same time, allowing for landing gear designs like this to be easily built
Tired of pistons being annoying? Tired of the connections on pistons being wobbly? Well I have the solution! The LINEAR ACTUATOR! using witchcraft I still can't seem to replicate no matter how hard I try, I made a control base go in and out instead of around and around. Use like a normal piston.
.
(To be real though, I have no clue how I got this to work, I pressed the undo button and the control base I was using started acting like this. I will appreciate it if someone manages to reverse engineer how this works)
.
Here it is: the LINEAR ACTUATOR.
@BestBuilderEverNOCAP its in the aircraftdesigns folder in the simpleplanes file, in steam, go to your library and right click on the game, click properties, then click local files, then click browse
@BestBuilderEverNOCAP click the dropdown that you would remove the post with, then click update XML, then grab the XML file for the build and upload it
Looks awesome! If i had any sort of animation skill, i would do something similar with the Amtek logo
@Vincent thx
+1Im interested, whats your discord

+1@PlaneFlightX ping me on the build and I will send it to the whole team. I'm on vacation rn so I can't curate at the moment
BORGAR
@Rework hehehe
+1@Grob0s0VBRa always found IDKFA more fun
+2(And IDDQD doesn't work against cyber demons)
Turn off ag8, turn on ag7, walk through.
+1The last door cannot be opened, it isn't connected to any rotators or pistons
Pinging with old usernames still works I think

The track looks nice and wide, it will be fun to see how my tournament cars will run on it
Watch your language
@Ren nevermind, figured out how.
Paste this into simpleplanes search: allintext: "This craft is curated" "MiG-25 Foxbat"
There are actually 2 curated foxbats. Use the first half when searching for curated craft.

+1@Mixx set positionSpring to 5E+15, set PositionDamper to 0
+1As far as I know, they don't care as long as you don't try to make a profit off of it. PlanariaLab is using models from SP in VRChat
It's a

Congrats on 10k
+2(Well you will be at 10k when my upvote goes through)
I remember seeing this on Reddit, gave me a good chuckle
+7@SpiritusRaptor give it the VR tag and a curator will look at it at some point, curation requires us to be in out headsets
+1@Reworkable ok, let me increase the damper on the actuators and ill upload

@SpiritusRaptor wormwithlegs explained it better than I cam
@Default4 I know what you are thinking of, dont
+5@Bryan5 thanks for telling me
+1@Bryan5 can you tell me how you did it?

Here it is: the LINEAR ACTUATOR.
I see you tried to make this VR compatible, but you put the steering wheel on a rotator instead of a control base
Set activation group to (Activate5&PitchAngle<60)|(Activate5&PitchAngle>90)
I have tested it, it does work
Pinned a comment I need to add to simplecheats

+2@MrShenanigansSP if it is above the chair, it physically cannot be below the chair at the same time, as that would cause a paradox
@MrShenanigansSP not sure what you mean, as above the chair is not below it

Make the steering less sensitive, the lower the steering angle, the better. My Blazing Aquamarine prototype has a steering angle of 2 degrees
+1@BestBuilderEverNOCAP click the dropdown that you would remove the post with, then click update XML, then grab the XML file for the build and upload it
@BestBuilderEverNOCAP you can update the XML
Yet another victim of the undo button

you are now on the top page of highest rated of all time
+6@XiliamXD to be honest I didn't expect you to build the dinosaur anyways
Congrats on platinum, your okthxbye permit should arrive in the mail shortly
