@Karzigg The 5 cm KwK 39 was excellent and the best the platform could get without sacrificing the turret and making it a casemate tank destroyer. The StuG III is basically that, a Panzer III with the long 7,5 cm.
@Karzigg Actually a lot of variants had different guns. The tank has had 4 different guns. The 3,7 cm KwK 36, 5 cm KwK 38, 5 cm KwK 39 and finally the 7,5cm KwK 37.
3,7cm KwK 36 was used on all variants up to Gustav.
5 cm KwK 38 was used by Friedrich up until Josef.
5 cm KwK 39 was used on Josef until Martha.
And finally the 7,5 cm KwK 37 was used on the Nordpol.
The tracks painting is broken again. This time it's the parts that couldn't be painted in the past and were just grey instead. So the parts on the inside of the tracks and the rubber wheel rims. These parts are now just a complete black void. It would be great to either see these parts paintable or just back to the grey they used to be.
lol the thumbnails and titles are all wrong. This should be 7 I think. The thumbnails of these videos seem to just be "player content of the month" and "player content of the month #2". It would be nice to date the videos in the thumbnail with the exact name of the month and the year.
Are there still intentions to fix the lighting and colours? As I addressed in a bug report already the colours are quite a bit off and the lighting became overall a lot worse. Tons of builds that are uploaded to this site now have outdated colours and look worse than they were before the beta. It just seems very backwards to downgrade the graphics with an update.
This is pretty decent, but you need to work on a few things.
My main criticism with this build is that it looks kind of bland because of the plain flat textures. Try to break them up. The easiest way to do this is with decals or by painting details and bits that stick out slightly a slightly darker shade. This makes the details stand out a lot more and gives the build a nice texture. Another great way to make a build less plain and give it character is by adding decals. Add a name or insignia.
Another criticism I have with this is that the improvements seem too small to justify another upload. That's why I will only upvote this version. Next time maybe make the build as good as you can with your current skill level and upload it. Then if you've become better at the game make a new tank altogether. It's also just way more interesting to have 3 different replica tanks than 3 updated versions of the same tank.
A few reasons as to why this is not Kolobanov's KV tank.
1) It's the wrong variant. Kolobanov had an KV-1E (s ekranami)
2) It's missing the identification number 864
3) It has an (inaccurate) German camo. Kolobanov's tank was not captured. Its turret was critically damaged by enemy fire during that battle
Another few inaccuracies. He killed 22 Panzers and 2 artillery pieces. Russians didn't have sabot rounds in WWII. There are also several inaccuracies in the build itself, misplaced details etc.
I'm also having a lot of issues with colour inaccuracies. Colours on old builds are now completely off.
Also there seems to be something wrong with shadows maybe? Overall a lot more contrast (?) and very dark shadows even in bright daylight. By shadows I don't mean the actual shadows, just the surface being darker when covered and stuff.
It seems like the Tracks can't be painted anymore in the new beta. Just a heads-up. I reported this as a bug already to Jundroo so they might fix it. If they don't an update to this mod would be greatly appreciated.
What I've noticed, and I find this very intriguing and fascinating, is that "anime hate" does not exist. A lot of weebs say that it does, but it's just not true. Not on this website at least.
Just to prove my point look at this comment section. You would expect anime hate comments on this forum post more than any other. Yet after reading all the comments I have not found a single comment that said something along the lines of "anime bad" in an insulting, hating manner.
Also I, a weeb, personally don't experience any hate, merely because I like anime. And I make it no secret that I am a weeb.
I don't know why weebs use this argument, and that is what I find so fascinating. It seems to just come out of nowhere. Do they use "they're just anime haters" as an excuse, wiping away valid criticism or hate on other things (like on their personality or attitude)? Is it because they feel insecure about liking anime? I have no clue.
Curious to hear your thoughts on this take.
I am the biggest, most massive weeb, so you can't just wipe my criticism away 😎
Universalized revamped fuselage blocks
I don't know whether this is possible because of backwards compatibility and such, but I'll leave this suggestion anyway.
Integration of all variables
All fuselage blocks will be added together into a single block. This block simply called "fuselage" has toggle able transparency, hollowness, coneness. It will also of course have dead weight, fuel, buoyancy, thickness, inlet angle, height/width/length/run/rise.
This would allow for some new cool things like glass cones and it would also make everything more organized (in my opinion).
Partial fuselage
There would also be an option to make the fuselage a half fuselage or even a quarter fuselage. This would be very useful when building, especially when making interiors, cockpits etc.
This could be set up using an angle. The default would be 360, half 180 and quarter 90. This would allow for even more shapes, like 45* fuselages or whatever.
(Because of the way fuselages are modelled maybe it's only possible to change this angle in steps of 15, since the fuselage block is a polygon with angles of 15.) Advanced corner types
Add a corner type with a slider from 0 to 1, 1 is perfectly circular, 0 is perfectly hard. Conclusion
I think this would be great, although it's probably a little ambitious. If only parts of my suggestion could be integrated that would still be awesome.

Right now in the game a camera will not render anything that's too close to it. Remove that, if possible.
