@OC3LOT1142 thank you! And thanks for the upvote! You know, I really hate doing this paint scheme thing, and I chose the "all-black" partly because it's pretty easy. But I absolutely don't mind if someone else repaints it.
@ThePilotDude not sure if you're talking about the real prototype or this replica :). For it somewhat applicable to both. On my model just don't push the stick too far, it really works better. And thanks for the upvote!
@destroyerP don't spend too much time on it. There's just way too many parts with custom properties I'm really afraid might be broken with the new version. But if basic performance and look is alright then everything should be great
Please check that there are no obvious holes in the structure and nothing falls off, all the control surfaces are moving properly and the engine and anemometer on the right wing are spinning (ag1 to be able to start the engine). The plane should take off almost on its own when the speed is high, and it should be difficult to bring the nose down on full throttle.
@destroyerP hey, could you you do me a favor please? Would you have a couple minutes to test the plane I build on 1.8? Just to see if it behaves well, all the gauges are working and it doesn't fall apart, lol
@destroyerP I updated and then rolled back to the lovely 1.7. The new features are cool (the hollow fuselage! I coul really use it), but broken Fine Tuner is really an issue for me right now.
@destroyerP yep, the new parts are gonna be awesome! Yet still there's no option for adjusting car engine torque :( What I'm really excited for is the new version of Unity, I really hope the game will run smoother, lol.
In other words, what I'm trying to achieve is make a rotator turn 24 times in exactly 30 (15, 60) real minutes. What I have found so far is that the rotator at 100% speed does full turn in about 1.6 seconds. But it is a rough estimate
@Adityo0502 @RailfanEthan that's not a problem actually. I don't mind setting the exact time and day duration every time, if only it will match the rotators
@zap210 yep, I kinda came back to the game, not sure for how long though :). And yes, there were no gyroscopes back then, so I had to experiment with weight offset. Not very successfully :). The build is freakin' awesome!
Oh my, I was playing with biped walking mechanisms for some time but haven't come up with something more or less stable. I definitely have to check this out when things slow down
@NathanMikeska the problem of main menu not loading still exists for me (Android). Installed the beta 30 minutes ago. No menu is displayed, but the sections of the screen are tappable and lead to sub-menus. I sent the bugreport via google form.
@yvanblo thank you! You can choose the initial position of the piston by switching its Direction setting to either Push (by default) or Pull. Note that you can do it only if you haven't attached anything to the piston's moving end.
...At least it's how it was when I last played the game.
@MethaManAircraft glad to hear that my gear set is in use :). There is a new gear in my 4WD Real Car that's used in the middle diff, feel free to take and use that too.
As for constant mesh transmission, I really wanted to make it myself and had some ideas but I currently don't play SP and can't tell when I will get back to the game. I'd be happy if someone could make it :)
@MisterT thank you for upvote and spotlight!
@Galland thank you! :)
Wow wow wow!
@zap210 thank you! Much appreciated! :) And thank you for the upvote!
@Galland @Hayhayjam664 @Zott @Windwaker5000 @Serkonda thank you guys!
+1@horatio thanks! Don't push the stick too far
@ThePrototype thank you for spotlight!

@destroyerP hey, thanks for upvote and the spotlight!
@AdlerSteiner thank you! And thank you for spotlight!
@MegaFox @EternalDarkness @aplayer @SodiumChloride @Kungfuevan thanks guys!

That should be enough :). Thanks again!
@destroyerP hey, could you you do me a favor please? Would you have a couple minutes to test the plane I build on 1.8? Just to see if it behaves well, all the gauges are working and it doesn't fall apart, lol
@destroyerP seems fine you say? Maybe I should give it another try then
@destroyerP I updated and then rolled back to the lovely 1.7. The new features are cool (the hollow fuselage! I coul really use it), but broken Fine Tuner is really an issue for me right now.
So, is FineTuner broken? Is there another way to move and rotate multiple parts at once?
@destroyerP yep, the new parts are gonna be awesome! Yet still there's no option for adjusting car engine torque :( What I'm really excited for is the new version of Unity, I really hope the game will run smoother, lol.
@destroyerP haha, thanks! I kinda lost interest in the game, it happens to me. But an email from Jundroo made me get back to it for a while
@destroyerP hey, thanks for the spotlight and the first upvote!
Okay, so I'm gonna post it shorty
@Winstonlharambe same here. Works pretty good as for me. Let me know if you're going to upload it so I don't do the same thing.
By the way, saw your comment about the engine under my build but totally forgot about it, sorry. Will check it out in the nearest time.
+1Okay, with the help of some online services I calculated the speed needed:
For minute hand it should be 0.13333...
For hour hand - 0.03849...
Gotta give it a try later.
So I guess the math looks like this:
30 minutes is 1800 seconds, so 24 turns in 1800 seconds = one turn in 75 seconds.
So, if one turn = 4 / (3 * speed * speed) seconds,
then we have:
75 = 4 / (3 * x * x)
75 = 4 / (3x^2)
x =
And that's where it starts to be complicated
@WNP78 wow, that is really helpful! Thank you!
@Chancey21 thanks for the mention!
+1@CRJ900Pilot yeah, but it's a lot of time! I believe it could be done with math and some knowledge of the games engine, but I'm bad at both :(
In other words, what I'm trying to achieve is make a rotator turn 24 times in exactly 30 (15, 60) real minutes. What I have found so far is that the rotator at 100% speed does full turn in about 1.6 seconds. But it is a rough estimate

Сразу вспомнился авиамодельный кружок :)
+1The detail! The damn detail!
@zap210 yep, I kinda came back to the game, not sure for how long though :). And yes, there were no gyroscopes back then, so I had to experiment with weight offset. Not very successfully :). The build is freakin' awesome!
+1Yep, and this one too!
Oh my, I was playing with biped walking mechanisms for some time but haven't come up with something more or less stable. I definitely have to check this out when things slow down
Wow wow wow! I have to try it!

Wow.
@yvanblo you're welcome! Have fun :)

@zap210 thanks guru! Hope I will
@zap210 nah, I lost interest to the game shortly before the update. It happens to me
Marble-ous!
Hey, how about a Hypercube?
Whoa, cool
"Thumbs are not fingers" is the funniest thing I ever read here. LMAO
@LASkey indeed. I'm sure it will involve some mind blowing nudging with fine tuner.
@MethaManAircraft glad to hear that my gear set is in use :). There is a new gear in my 4WD Real Car that's used in the middle diff, feel free to take and use that too.

I wonder if someone will ever make a constant mesh transmission in SP.
@jamesPLANESii cool, eh? :) And the front is supposed to be a urinal.
