@DPSAircraftManufacturer plus I don't just need an engine, I need an advanced one, one that can operate way higher than the exact altitude of space( need to be a lot more than 330,000ft of performance) and must be highly fuel efficient, no exhaust/small exhaust, exceedingly higher power and thrust than any sort of ram jet engine you've ever created(because so far those I've checked on were too weak for the craft needed). It doesn't need to look good and it has to have as little part count as possible. Best is to use single engine with no decorations and which means the craft will have 2 parts (cockpit and engine). It's size must not be too big nor small and must be a BFE150 engine with the same exact size.
This was really difficult and I couldn't create an engine like it because I simply couldn't xml the engine must suck up air. It was impossible to do that at higher altitude.
I'm really more on to playing this challenge rather than the prize. So I don't mind if you didn't give me the prize if I win...But it's not very likely anyway.

@Irobert55 and yes...The me262 did fare well pilots have claimed to have downed 30 b17 bombers with its r4m rockets, but all me262 variants actually shot down 542 allies aircraft. Calculate that and it really isn't effective at all.
@Irobert55 what? Aim them like gunfire? That's why it's so hard? You see, don't aim like gunfire because the rocket is a lower velocity weapon. You should note that I had to lead all the way ahead to kill that bush plane right? It's why it's this hard. If you aim like gunfire you'll miss every time because the rockets will simply go behind the target. The skill part comes is patience, positioning and leading just right. It's really hard trust me @Irobert55.
Plus, the velocity of the plane doesn't affect rockets in this game so rockets on the me262 wouldn't not affect the difficulty and effectiveness at all. It's harder too because the jet is less maneuverable, extremely fast and the rockets in this game hardly even equal to guns. In order to have a higher chance of hitting a target with rockets. You must:
- make sure you pick an easy to kill target.( In my case, the bush plane. If your plane is fast, maybe light/medium/heavy bombers)
- Make sure the target isn't maneuvering any direction except straight.
- position of fire has to be the largest area of the target.(as I mentioned in previous comments, the wings)
- you must be faster than your target.
- you must have enough maneuverability to be able to avoid an air collision and maneuver into a position.
- you have to lead the target extremely far.
All these are hard for any plane. It's hard for a fast plane to be maneuverable. On the other hand, maneuverable planes are usually slow.
Then, you must be able to fit lots of rockets on your plane. And finally, you must learn to aim the guns before trying it. So the advanced targeting mod will be obsolete for this job. So...If you want to try this in sp. It works, but good luck even killing a single air target.
Also, as I said before...Why not just use guns? All those problems wouldn't exist if you could rely on guns instead.
I'm actually thinking about the same thing...I have some prototypes I don't dare share to the community because they could break the community. I've already made some stuff better but also ruined some stuff. Nowadays I don't dare upload a prototype that is too overpowered to prevent the exploitation of the game and it's mechanics( I've done that a few times already and I will not do it again)
@Irobert55 however if you want AI to also use it...Well I hate to say but why not just use guns? They're way more effective and can hit a target even when they're moving. Rockets are unreliable for air to air engagement even if you are against a bomber.

The funny thing was...
-my plane was too slow so I used the bush plane instead.
- I fitted 40 dumb rockets but I fired one and I killed the bush plane.
- it took me ages to do because it was difficult to hit the back of a plane, I realised that if you hit the plane from above or below you have a better chance of a hit.
Hmm...I usually don't think about depression but since you mentioned it...I'm thinking about the bad things again...(End of comment because I don't want to talk about sad things because I have depression for years because let's just go to the happy things ok? Because screw this me and this sad topic I don't want to think I have depression)
I do have problems using ground pounding weapons as air to air weapons, I wanted my heavy fighter to use the cannon for air targets and ground targets but it uses boom 50s. It can't lock and I can't track and I've only hit an air target once during testing.
Found a solution.
But here are a few things to consider.
First: have you noticed that when you go full throttle the afterburner activates? Check.
Second: you can use 89% throttle and afterburner does not kick in? Check.
Third: if you noticed enough the afterburner will only open at a range of 90(ish) to 100. Which means there is a solution. If the input isn't at 1or 0.9, then it has to be at 0.89 and then the power multiplier has to balance this by setting it by 0.11 which means the power multiplier is 1.11, therefore you can set both of them and you'll have the same engine without and afterburner.
Easy right? You'll get it.
Here's my opinion as a fictitious builder:
If you love replicas and you can afford to do so with time, effort, skill and enjoy the beauty and details of a build, go for it!
However, if you cannot(because it's extremely difficult to build a replica that can fly well and look amazing without doing a hell lot of parts and modding) it's best you either stick with fictitious builds or play for a while, become more skilled, build more, mod more and build replicas once in a while. This works for me since I've joined for a while and already learn't most of the game mechanics, however I was more interested in how the machine works and performs rather than the looks so I'm probably gonna be a half fictitious half replica builder.

It didn't happen till I forced it, otherwise it can keep it's speed high after the engine revs up.
@MIWTheGamer sweet! Also I didn't plan to make this plane look ugly, the design was just too ugly. Usually my planes are not as strange as this because the position of guns are different. Of course this position benefits for the enormous cannon in the front and high maneuverability and stability. Though I gotta admit, yes it looks trash.

What do you exactly want? Equip rockets and have air targets in site? Or have rockets be able to hit planes? Or something else? Not sure.

@ViciousTNT correct! Plus you could mirror and usually that solves my problem, I'd usually make sure the plane is fully symmetrical.
