Suggestion 1:
I propose to finally fix the fact that parts that have nothing to burn can burn. I have a photo that perfectly shows that the chassis, made of a wheel, two rotators and a spring, is on fire. And it burned as if the fuel tank had been punctured.
Make it so that the parts that have fuel in them can burn (engines go without saying). And make the size of the fire depend on the size of the part and the amount of damage received.
Suggestion 2:
Make an input option for parts such as countermeasure dispenser and cannon.
I like the logic of the designers: So, we have the gun on the right. So on the left we will put the driver. And the gunner right behind him. The gunner can't see anything, but we don't care about that. We'll give the commander a good view. But only backwards. And the loader right behind the gun. And let's make it so that the shells have to be loaded into the gun on the right, and stand on the left. And reach. These shells will also be loaded from the right. "Squerish, praktish, discomfortish." - the motto of the German designers.
The landing instructions are a little incorrect.
I'd replace it with something like
" " "
1) Locate the nearest US Navy ship
2) Head the airplane directly at the ship.
3) Praise the emperor
" " "
I don't know, it dies like everything else. Yes, it has maneuverability, but my plane hangs on his six like glue. And he doesn't always dodge my missiles, either. I won all five of my fights, even though I had to sweat it out twice.
There are several simple ways :
1. Passing :
- The airplane needs an air brake .
When the enemy is behind you, slow down and use the brake. Also pull up a little. As soon as the enemy flies past, disengage the brake, put the thrust to full and attack the enemy in the tail.
A turn with flaps:
The plane should have working flaps.
Since the AI does not know how to use the flaps, you can give yourself an advantage and increase maneuverability by releasing the flaps at the right time.
And tips:
Do not maneuver directly.
A simple example: you and your enemy went head-to-head and survived without damage. Look where he is maneuvering. Do not turn in his direction, turn where he will. Don't tail him. Turn where he's going. That's a skill that comes with experience.
Don't stay too long in a frontal attack. At 400-700 meters, turn down. If you miss that point, it's a big risk. You could collide, or the enemy could hit you. If you do this in time, the enemy will not have time to follow you and you will have a couple of seconds to maneuver.
Keep Altitude.
This is a tip. Always have an altitude reserve. This is the main rule of air combat. You have more energy and a better chance of escaping after a bad approach.
But I have a slightly different point of view.
I don't know if I can translate this quote exactly, but :
,,
- You can never solve all problems. After solving one, there will be another, after that a third. It's an endless cycle.
- It turns out that everything in life is bad.
- Not everything... But most of life is pain. With a few moments of peace, of joy... happiness.
- But if most of life is pain, what do we live for?
- For these few moments.

What am I saying? What does not kill, makes stronger. Use that principle. There will be a party on your street, you have to wait for it.
In that case, I think that you will be interested in my builds. I try to make less than 300 parts and I almost always succeed. And they look (I think) not bad.
the flight of the bomber in the background is more interesting than the basic video.
this is a short explanation of how the AI flies well (no way)
looooooooool
Coincidentally, I'm using a similar system on a ship I'm currently building. Rolling can really throw off the sights a lot, and my manual aiming system is set up so that it only works properly in the horizontal level. But simple stabilisation with a small adjustment corrects all the counting errors.
@MAXRPM09764 I use the console to turn off the interface, change the angle of view if necessary and shoot in slow motion, and then accelerate the video to get a smoother picture (for the recording in real time was 4 fps, which is not good.).
@PapaKernels
If you're asking for a review, well...
In terms of appearance, you could have done better detailing and picked a slightly better color. You could also play with the shape of the wing.
As a fighter of the 20s and 30s, it has good speed, while maintaining maneuverability. Good firepower for a fighter of that time and a bomb load of 200 kg make it a very dangerous aircraft for the enemy.
The plane has good optimization in terms of details. Also, the landing gear looks good and the cockpit is cool. Also liked the bombs. I can note the detailed description of the plane, with a story about the controls and screenshots. Not a bad picture.
I could do this for all planes, but I would die and test it until early fall.

If the engine takes damage - its thrust is reduced. So you can compare its nominal and real thrust and if they are different, use that as an input.
+2Very dry
+2According to the rules of good manners, if you use someone else's airplane, at least cite its author.

I will participate. And yes, I know another way to make the plane a successor.
You have to specify the URL of the plane you want to be the successor in the XML file before you upload it.
+2@BomberDiesel I've never noticed anything like that. My plane withstood even hard landings.
