@Brendorkus @ChrisPy I have seen small players making pretty good builds before, but they get very little attention due to their lack of followers, judges would make the challenges more fair, plus then you could actually test the craft’s functionality and performance and judge off of that.
I feel like their will be lots of builds with hidden p0rn images now by bronze and white users, also wouldn’t it now be possible for users to insert harmful code into their crafts, also if you can add custom images now, they might as well make you be able to upload custom sounds too
Just curious, but would it be possible to add an “enginesoundrpmmultiplier” or something, where basically what it would do is change the pitch of the engine with a number in the .xml file, 1 would be the default and 2 would play the engine sound at x2 speed, and 0.5 would play at half speed (you should get the rest), might be useful for people who want to change how their crafts sound
It is because the min value is supposed to be used for negative inputs. Set the input to VTOL or trim, and if you slide VTOL up all the way, the prop will run at the full 100% speed. But because you set the min to 0.1 instead of 0, the prop will spin, but only at 10% speed if you slide it all the way down, and if you kept it at the default value of 0, sliding the VTOL slider down all the way would not make the prop spin at all.
And I say set the input to VTOL or trim because you can slide them both ways (-1,0,1, 0 being neutral, 1 being slid up all the way, and -1 being slid all the way down), whereas throttle is just one way (0, 1,) and if you move the throttle joystick (if you are on mobile) will just activate the brake, hope this helps!
@UltimatePlayer123 exactly, I always try and be original and build my own stuff, if you want to fly those replicas go play a better suited game like dcs or x plane or something
Also engine sound directly tied to rpm too, when I set the max rpm to 12,000 in overload, it should sound more like a an F1 car, not a slow Cessna revving to 2800, despite it actually being 12krpm
@EternalDarkness smart, but will you be able to have asymmetrical adjustment of sides, kind of like manual mode for fuselage corners. Basically what I mean is a slider for left and right sides, it would make this even better
Will there be the option to have two or more holes? Because if you wanted to have a cockpit above the landing gear (like most planes are), you would still have to resort to panelling unless you can have a hole on the top and bottom

@jamesPLANESii @Strucker the main reason I don’t play sr2 is because of it’s awful ui, can’t stand going through dozens of menus just to rotate a part
