@DaPandaBoi69420 That's the chorus of 12 jet engines going off at the same time. There's actually 14 total, the 12 being for show since it was difficult to get the ship to fly in a straight line and control it with all the extra pull.
@Biasunrussian sounds good, this thing is an old build too, and I've learned a lot since it was first built. Time for a remake. Manual, minor details, maybe some part reduction and performance improvement. Sounds like a good list to go off of.
@CrimsonOnigiri Thanks, original designs are usually hard to make popular, especially when you don't have that platinum badge, but long as the people who download enjoy it, that for me is a success. Plus, the stuff and FT code that went into this thing will find itself in future designs.
@Falco7 I'm planning on a light version in the future. This was more for the new VR/Gauges update. What is the part limit your phone can handle? That way I know what target I should go for.
@Werboithescientist Thanks, I upgraded to an Imperial Eagle but had the same issues. I didn't make any money in Elite till I became an intergalactic Uber with the Dolphin. It's dumb how you make the most money in the most boring ways playing Elite. They've fixed a lot, but it might be a little too late I think.
Hey guys, thanks for the upvotes and I hope you enjoy the model. Recently I've been tuning it and fixing many issues, primarily the speed issue. Since the update there are some other things I want to do to really bring out the best in this design and you can expect the same to be done with my Eagle as well. I'll probably have an updated version ready sometime early November.
@Gluck thanks, Elite Dangerous players fall into a small niche in the SP community. It's not like a Millennium Falcon, or the latest version of a Suhkoi from Ace Combat. This build is for a small community, maybe somebody missing their Krait, Eagle, or maybe even Anaconda while they are on the road. Upvotes are cool, but giving someone the ability to take their ship with them anywhere they go is well worth the labor.
Update in the works, the drag model on this thing is terrible and has been improved along with better handling, more armor and bigger guns. I have some larger ships planned so I want this thing to feel more like a light Corvette in comparison.
Upgraded Imperial Eagle in the works, using different flight controls, as well as those creepy spider leg landing gear Gutamaya likes to use on their ships.
@ProjectVideoGame, you're right on that. If I ever go back to this project it's something I'll add. I've been working on performance issues with larger builds, SP always seems to crash when working on this thing.
@VolcanicAsh the turret design concept came from a T-57 American medium tank, but building it, I was getting Merkava vibes too, especially since it plays a similar role.
Definitely, its basically just a bunch of flattened wheels attached to independent springs. Still waiting for Junroo to add tracks, going on year 5 pretty soon.
@Falco7 Thanks it's always good to see other ED players in the community, now I may have to build the Anaconda, it just wouldn't seem right not to at this point.
@idk201011323 When I first tested it on the convoy, I accidently ran them over with the thing, went though some windmills in the process, and flew away. Yeah, it's a hefty bird.
So I found out for some reason the landing gear causes it to roll. Not sure why, but if it's a nuisance just remove the landing gear, the original design can actually land just fine without it. I may make a version that uses a different gear set, but at this point I'm working on other projects. This is more of a test bed for a flapless design.
@idk201011323 Thanks for the heads up. I'm probably going to release an updated version that uses trim to counter the roll. It worked pretty well, just annoying because after going over 500 parts, the only solution I have for it is weird SP Physics. I might as add the cockpit I wanted and tune the RCN.
@idk201011323 yeah I noticed, I use mouse and keyboard, so it's not as bad, but I think it's because it uses too many independent panels, with different drag values, or maybe the center of mass sits above the wings. I may patch it in the future. I'll be honest I didn't expect people to notice this thing.
@LITVYAK013INDUSTRIES you might be talking about the wrong plane, that or you're an incredible pilot since this thing doesn't have much air to ground capabilities, or floats. That isn't a bad idea though, and to make things float, all you need to do is just adjust the buoyancy setting on the part that touches the water.
I think in life there's "roads" that are clearly bad choices, but not everyone can walk the same path, unfortunately life doesn't give us the same opportunities. We got to take the path that is best for us, and for the people around us. Life is tough, it's definitely not fair. There is no right or wrong answers, just the consequences of outcomes. Being open minded to see where that path goes is part of the challenge. At the end of it all, you need to ask yourself if the path you walked is worth the outcome, and if it was then you probably made the right choice. I know this is open to some witty response, but hey, it comes with the territory.
@Hellfire3627 yeah it is a bit touchy at straight and level roll, I'm probably going to have to make it's control surfaces smaller. Just so I have an idea, are you flying it with mobile controls?
@Natsu0100 Definitely, your more than welcome to use any of my designs, and the parts I put into them. Also if you need help just let me know. VTOL is hard but once you get the hang of normal planes become boring. And thanks for the heads up on the issues on the Eagle.

Thanks, this thing was used to help me figure out how I was supposed to make a ST-70 fly, but it kind of turned into it's own ship. Hope you enjoy it.
+1@CrimsonOnigiri hate to say it but I never had the chance to see his builds. Definitely need to check them out.
+1Once again, credit to @PlanariaLabs. Some of you might recognize the HUD.
Nope... Not even going to question it, Upvote
+2@Falco7 Awesome, I'm happy it works. Enjoy the build, and thanks for testing out the design.
+1@Falco7 I was wondering if you could test this design out.
@Falco7 Will do
Looks good, building panel by panel is never easy, but you did a solid job.
Well, why not 375 Upvotes
+2@Falco7 Cool, I'm finishing up a potato version, just some mobile testing and fixing some FT bugs.
@Biasunrussian sounds good, this thing is an old build too, and I've learned a lot since it was first built. Time for a remake. Manual, minor details, maybe some part reduction and performance improvement. Sounds like a good list to go off of.

+1@Falco7 I'm working on a version for the mobile community. Could you work with 460?
A VTOL? Upvote, no questions asked
+1@Viper_Z3R0 Definitely, it was a fun challenge, and you provided great chassis to build off of. I also have an Artillery version in the works too.
Just updated the description. Still had the old stuff from the old post. Hopefully the controls makes sense.
@Falco7 I'm planning on a light version in the future. This was more for the new VR/Gauges update. What is the part limit your phone can handle? That way I know what target I should go for.
@MAHADI I do like unique propulsion systems, and it's basically a space ship minus the space.
Impressive, I'll give credit on a build when using this, it definitely has that unmistakable PlanariaLab touch.
An elegant weapon, from a more civilized (minus nuclear Holocausts) age
That's okay, the time spent grinding money in WOT is much better invested getting upvotes in simple planes instead.

Sure, let keep this train Rollin, upvote and spotlight

@Sm10684 my bad, I put that down thinking it was for builds for a competition and challenges. Corrected
Upgraded Imperial Eagle in the works, using different flight controls, as well as those creepy spider leg landing gear Gutamaya likes to use on their ships.
@jamesPLANESii it most likely will not win, but it will look cool

@Falco7 It'd be a lot easier, the Krait was annoying to build due to all the crazy angles. A Python should be a little more straight forward.
@Astro12 just being respectful to another builders work
@Viper_Z3R0 cool, I was trying to get all intricate with the details. I enjoy giving my self headaches making interiors.
+1I'll jump in on this one, are we allowed to hollow out the hull?
+1Cool design, is it okay if I make a variant?
@Falco7 Thanks it's always good to see other ED players in the community, now I may have to build the Anaconda, it just wouldn't seem right not to at this point.
@idk201011323 When I first tested it on the convoy, I accidently ran them over with the thing, went though some windmills in the process, and flew away. Yeah, it's a hefty bird.
@Inferno543 I was thinking of adding a small fighter like a Taipan at some point but it's just too many parts for my computer to run.

@Zanedavid I like to stay around 400 parts for my mobile builds. This one added up real fast. Yeah, I think I need a hardware upgrade.
