Could I make two planes for submissions?
The second plane would be the Romanian IAR 80, it did not enter service until 1941, but it was built in 1939, if that is fine with you
@MetalShaezodoonic what? XD
.
The J58 was not a rocket. It was a turboramjet, one of only a couple that ever existed and the only that was actually put into extensive service. It does not have a rocket in it. It has a small turbojet that powers it to take off, and then once it accelerates, the pressure pushes back the shock cone and then the air is rammed together in the rear of the engine through a new gap that forms when the shock is pushed, which then is injected with fuel and burned, which has more fuel than air, so it uses the immense pressure to combust, which produces an "afterburn" that provides a significant amount of thrust
SNCASO SO.4000 might tickle your interest based on your recent builds. It was an experimental bomber, and the first indigenously designed jet bomber in France
I draw out basic designs XD
I don't do anything too specific, because unless I use graphing paper and redraw it 5 times, it looks like hot garbage
.
And might I be the first to point out, DAMN THAT PAINTING IS SO FREAKING GOOD
Blueprints are a good start, mate. Then use slicing to match the outline of the canopy (if the canopy is external). if the canopy/cockpit is internal or more inline with the fuselage, just slice that area out!
.
Another thing, if you use the first method, I'd suggest making the fuselage larger than needed and then slicing it down
@VisionAviation awesome!! And of course!
.
I honestly have no clue, but I presume it is because you need a variable to control the hinge, while using the weapon as the variable that opens it
.
The first section (each section is defined by the ?) Is for what selecting the weapon does, which is set the rotator to 0 from it's original position, but you can change that
The second section states that once the weapon reaches 0 amount, it will lock at it's closed space and stop it from functioning
The third section, the one you are asking about, is the backup to open it, but it only works when the aforementioned value is greater than 0, and is not empty
@X99STRIKER oh, it is lol
Butt you're good. That history is actually really interesting. Stary in 1910 when the Cliques formed and Japan puppeted Machuko (what was left of the Qing dynasty)
I mean, you really could just use the in-game cannon that has the ammunition counter
Just increase the firing rate to where you like it, I'd say about 2.5 seconds should do the trick
@Chickendude @BeastHunter a lot of VR players say they wish more people added it to the rotation on the stick (of course, this doesn't work well on yokes and such)
Irl, it would be on the foot pedals, but VR does not encompass full body tracing yet... sadly
@V lmao. I was being serious
I've been sick, so the drugs are making me talk and make no sense. Well, not that I was any better without it lol
.
I'm being serious, because my props keep breaking on manual pitch
And, sorry for the Japanese, operation downfall was far more dangerous than the bombs
.
Also, the bomb dropped on Nagasaki was actually planned to be dropped on Yokohama (part of Tokyo), but weather made them drop it somewhere else. The casualties were plenty enough though
@Mikey101234 yeah
Operation downfall was an even more last resort
.
The nuclear devices were made to stop a war. In fact, the original plan was to bomb the hell out of Germany. But VE day came before that day, so the USA prepared against Japan in the pacific. The cold war started because Stalin didn't trust us after we agreed to a non-aggression pact and then nuked Japan without letting them know
.
Apparently some people say we bombed Japan first, but either way, they didn't want to attack us. The generals thought it would be stupid to start a war with us. They knew we'd kill the crap out of them. But it was too late once they had it planned out. A general even remarked "we have awoken a sleeping dragon"
@Falkenwut that's super cool!!! Really ingenious. Looking at your blueprint now, I can see what you mean, and you nudged everything so perfectly, that unless you look close, it looks like you drew it all yourself
It's a pressure-based cone that covers an intake to decelerate Supersonic air from passing into the engine. It slows the air down and compresses it. It's used on jet engines
@PapaKernels lmao
.
As a pilot, you do NOT use flaps for takeoff. On a rare occasion, you might use half flaps, but nothing more. Flaps are meant to slow you down for approach and also increase lift, decreasing the need for speed. On take off, it is just inefficient lol
@ZeroWithSlashedO I mean, technically you can make that missile through XML, but nonetheless, if there was a heat system from jet engines to make that work, that'd be cool
The calculation time would cause lag though
I JUST THOUGHT OF ONE.
.
I think one thing that's a tad annoying are mirroring the rotators. For one, if it is vertical along the mirror axis, it sometimes makes a copy in the same place, but that's beyond the point
Mirroring roll rotators. The rotators mirror the control on the rotator. I feel like if the rotator was set to roll, it would be a lot better to have it not mirror, that way it is easier to work with in the wing building stage of the aircraft
@Ryn176 oh no. That means that, if you don't have one, you'll have to contact someone with it and ask them to test it
.
Do these rotators move without VR input? Like a regular rotator?

((ammo("[Weapon Name]")=0) ? 0 : ((SelectedWeapon="[Weapon Name]") ? 1 : (Activate[NumberValue1-8])
+2Yes, I have a code for that. I'll share it with you, one sec
+2@NeinNein done, mate

And in regards to the latter part, that'd be awesome!

+2@Falkenwut great job on this one, dude!! It's super good
+2HE LIVES!
+2This thing is awesome btw
@Walvis I agree with you. That could be like a tournament that everyone has been wanting
+2This is inherently stupid. Why was it taken down?

+2@MrShenanigans a collage
+2Dude... this is f-ing amazing. Hat off to ya for it. You absolutely went above and beyond for this project
+2They already have different fonts. You have to code it in XML and input the font you want

The bomb bay also had to be retrofitted. It couldn't carry them normally. The bomb bays were designed for conventional weaponry
