@Flash0of0green A variant based off the lighter 2.5-ton LMTV was considered, but public opinion regarding the procurement of surplus military gear such as the M1118 Commando changed in the events and aftermath of the Huntsville Women's Health Center.
In the massacre, where a dozen heavily-armed Southern Confederacy gunmen with submachine guns, assault rifles, and hand grenades attacked the "baby murder factory" and killed 42 patients, doctors, and patients and injured dozens more, an unarmed M1118 Commando crewed by Lt. Barnes Winston and an unidentified officer rescued 15 doctors, nurses, patients, and bystanders by drawing fire to the vehicle. Lt. Winston also engaged the gunmen through the firing ports until ammunition with his G3 rifle until he ran out of ammunition.
Given that the event happened live on prime time television, streamed by dozens of individuals and news agencies, and witnessed by many more, public sentiment changed toward the need for the armored personnel carriers, and the National Gendarme procured some M1118. The need for a lighter Gharial disappeared in light of this development.
@PyrusEnderhunter Idk. I'm busy with school things right now.
Most people really use the RP for socialization regarding unrelated topics btw. You could easily move to a dormant state where you don't leave but don't go establishing factions.
I must agree. I’ve found myself dabbling into the more obscure machines. Although I don’t think the L-39 and the PC-7 are particularly obscure aircraft. @EternalDarkness
I like it a lot. I take it that you are quite enamored by the Argentine aviation industry, yes? The plane’s lines remind me of the FMA IA 63 Pampa. @EternalDarkness
The trucks IMO are more likely to be filled with munitions, given what happens when they are shot at.
In the aforementioned instances, the targets are the vehicles, not the crew or passengers. In combat, it is certainly accepted to shoot at enemy vehicles. However, targeting the crew as they attempt to leave their stricken vehicle is an unspoken taboo.
By eliminating explicit references that the vehicles are manned, they could maintain that the targets are very much non-human. @Awsomur
@PyrusEnderhunter Not really. It's really a heavily armed, well-armored scout helicopter that can deliver pain when needed.
If it doesn't have enough firepower, then it can call upon other units such as fighter-bombers or artillery, to complement it. It can mark targets either for itself, or for other units to take advantage of.
You’ve got eight very precise anti-tank missiles that basically have no lock time and can theoretically engage targets 60 degrees behind the aircraft on either side, a pair of high-velocity rocket pods with quadruple the standard rate of fire, a pair of insta-lock Sidewinder missiles to dissuade enemy helicopters from engaging you, and a very effective 20mm Vulcan cannon that can fire within a 90 degree arc of the front with 15 degrees elevation and 60 degrees depression.
I think this aircraft has some fairly effective armament. @PyrusEnderhunter
@Stellarlabs That's built off the Lorraine 37L, a French 6-ton tracked munitions carrier, with the barest minimum armor and a 70hp engine.
This is derived from a Swiss MOWAG Piranha, an amphibious 20-ton 8x8 wheeled armored personnel carrier with enough armor to withstand 30mm APDS automatic cannon ammunition and a 300hp engine.
Remember last season?
This would have been VERY helpful for not getting stomped by an an angry Afrikaner heiress who reads history books. @PyrusEnderhunter
@PyrusEnderHunter You may have found this useful last season.

@FennVectorCWA The C&C Avenger was based off the actual AN/TWQ-1 Avenger, which this plane was built off of.
@PyrusEnderhunter Ah.
@PyrusEnderhunter Define "woke."
@RailfanEthan Thanks!
@QingyuZhou Because planes are things?
@PyrusEnderhunter Idk. I'm busy with school things right now.

@Awsomur I think so.
@Awsomur Sweet!
@danman12 Thanks!
@dootdootbananabus Basically.
@dootdootbananabus Can you not spam the tags please? I don't want to make you the first person I've blocked on this site.
Thanks! @ESIOTROT121
Do you know the baseline damage done by all weapons? @WNP78
@WNP78 I have a feeling the maxRange for missiles are in meters.
Love the color scheme!
Ah.
I’d consider Brazil, but Embraer isn’t exactly obscure anymore.
Ever thought of making a Hind clone? @EternalDarkness
Did you try ripoff anything from SOKO or UTVA? @EternalDarkness
I must agree. I’ve found myself dabbling into the more obscure machines. Although I don’t think the L-39 and the PC-7 are particularly obscure aircraft. @EternalDarkness
The Emperor approves. @realluochen9999

@AndrewGarrison pls.
@Alienbeef0421 Such an arrangement, while effective, is rather clumsy and finicky to use in the best of conditions.

@PyrusEnderhunter The jeep was made to scale.
@PyrusEnderhunter I suggested the 105mm rifle carrier since that had substantially stiffened suspension so it could carry the 105mm recoilless rifle.
Ride quality is generally poor, and even worse without the rifle.
I saw you fitted it onto a standard jeep, and the suspension bottomed out.
@PyrusEnderhunter "very little space."
They're bigger than a jeep.

Anyone who needs more firepower is compensating for something small. @PyrusEnderhunter
Thanks! @Blue0Bull
Thanks! @Awsomur
It was a bit of a design compromise, since flexible gun mounts in SP aircraft are generally finicky to implement. @bjac0
Indeed. @BaconEggs
@Viper28 Np!
@phanps Thanks!
XML modding @PyrusEnderhunter
The proposed self-propelled mortar is a twin-gun autoloading system. @YuukaNeko
Lol, you need mortars. @PyrusEnderhunter
Looks good but for the grip.
If you want to know about how to do the grip, look no further than my own C96. @Othawne
They took a C96 and stuck stuff all over it. @PhantomBladeCorp
PC > iOS @PyrusEnderhunter
@danman12 Thanks!
@Stellarlabs No problem.
@Stellarlabs It only looks small because it's stuck onto a substantially larger vehicle.
@Stellarlabs This thing has more armor in the back than that artillery piece has in the front.

@Stellarlabs Measured by bore diameter, like most weapons.
