@Gs I appreciate those remarks. And to respond to some of your criticism:
There are instructions in-game to help you fly it. I tested this plane heavily testing before releasing it to the public, it may take some learning to fly it but I assure you that this plane flies properly and at its best guns only. It's also inherently unstable as it is a fighter. It also flies best with joystick / mouse as joystick control. I don't know about keyboard though.
Well, it is a playset. The Props are free to use. You can delete the props or put them in your sub-assembly!
I wanted to keep it as simple as possible, so yeah no things that requires Variable setters or things that will slow your system down.
@Aviationlover101 Thanks for the offer but I think I'll pass. I'm gonna let my brain rest for a while and I think it's gonna take some time for my next plane.
XML Update 2:
- Added another Thrust Brake. You can now fully stop at mid-air like any other helicopter! it activates when using brakes at TAS < 20 MPH.
- New Part Count: 580.
XML Update 2:
- Added another Thrust Brake. You can now fully stop at mid-air like any other helicopter! it activates when using brakes at TAS < 20 MPH.
- New Part Count: 451.
XML Update 2:
- AOA Limiter at Low Speed removed. I have come to realize that this was annoying in flight because the aircraft snaps back to 0 AOA at low speed.
XML Update 5:
- AOA Limiter at Low Speed removed. I have come to realize that this was annoying in flight because the aircraft snaps back to 0 AOA at low speed.
XML Update 1:
- Fixed the Gun range (It can now fire at long range. It previously couldn't because burstCount is set to 0.)
- New Gun ammo: 3600 (as opposed to the previous 20000 this is to match ace combat gun ammo count).
Friendly Reminder: Don't set your Gun's burstCount to 0 otherwise it will not fire farther than 0.2 miles!!!
XML Update 4:
- Fixed the Gun range (It can now fire at long range. It previously couldn't because burstCount is set to 0.)
- New Gun ammo: 3600 (as opposed to the previous 20000 this is to match ace combat gun ammo count).
Friendly Reminder: Don't set your Gun's burstCount to 0 otherwise it will not fire farther than 0.2 miles!!!
XML Update 2:
- Canards enlarged which slightly enhanced performance.
- Reduced Drag Points to 5063.
- Reduced Engine Power to realistic thrust: from 67442 lbf to 42151.25 lbf (P&W F-135 Engine's thrust output was used as reference).
- New Power/Weight Ratio : 1.565
- Increased Gun Power (based on ReinMcDeer's SP Weapons Balancing Database V2.10.8).
Aircraft's Overall Performance is generally unaffected by these changes. I keep updating this plane because I'm keeping up with the details I employ on the pure naval variant of this aircraft.
@molakesi Unfortunately, I have already looked into this issue when I played with this aircraft. However, I didn't find the cause of the problem, so I decided not to fix it.
@localf15enjoyer No man, I'm not, the plane Mikado000 made the entire plane. I only added some weapons and extra features. But I'm glad you enjoyed it.
@llDeadboyll For the Refueling Mode, In the Variables section at the bottom right of the designer, input the following codes:
• Thr | clamp(clamp01(Activate6) * (((TargetDistance - (35 + (VTOL * 20))) / 15) + rate(TargetDistance)) / 5, -1, 1)
• Brk | clamp01(-Thr)
• Multi | clamp((TargetDistance - 35) / 250, 0.2, 1) + (0.8 * clamp01(-TargetSelected))
Using the Overload XML Editor, apply the variable name in the following parts and the following pattern:
• In your Engines at the InputController section, input | Throttle + Thr
• In your Airbrakes at the InputController section, input | Brake + Brk
• In your Wings at the ControlSurface section, inputId | Roll * Multi & inputId | Pitch * Multi
XML Updated 1:
• New part Count: 404.
• Fuel Capacity increased from 880 gal. to 3,910 gal.
• Fuselage Parts have been smoothened.
• Canards adjusted to 4.75 degrees for better flight.
• Adjusted Countermeasures location and added Chaffs.
@dhtv587 Thank You! it's been out now for a while Click here if you want to check it out. It helped me reach gold and I didn't expect it to get much attention but Thank You Very Much Again!
@IMTOLAZZTOMAKEANAME If you're on PC just hold the FireGuns button, but I don't know if it's the same on mobile.
Edit: If you're on mobile, for guns (located right under its compartment near the right wing) to work, first changed the armed group from "Funky" to "All" (just type this as is in the box that shows the funky tree code) after that you need to change it again by tapping the Armed Group button to any activation group you want or just tap it again until you reach the "All" setting, otherwise, it won't save.
@TheFlightGuySP Welp, that's the pros and cons of scaling an aircraft. But thank you for your advice, and I'll be sure to add them for a future version of this craft which will hopefully include an interior and other features.

@Verdugo it's the XML editor mod and I think mobile has it too.
@Verdugo Using Overload of the Rotor part, in the RotorPerfScalars Section set collectiveTorque value to 0.
