@DilophDilophTheDumDum The air brakes automatically come out at 95% flaps because I'm lazy -I used 'em to bleed speed on landing approach anyway, so why bother having to press another AG button? You're absolutely right about the landing gear... I did that last, but didn't have enough parts left to make a good copy of the MiG's landing gear. The result is sth that looks half-decent from a distance, with your eyes pinched ;)
I'm fine with paying tribute to the golden age of France. I love French planes -they have some great designs, and the Mirages are absolute classics & are still relevant today. But I don't recognize this one -sorry...
@TMach5 oh, OK... I thought the A-6 had flaperons. So the airbrakes are approx in the right place, but you made... ehm... brakerons? ;) why not! It works, anyway...
@Grizzlitn_CFSP Thanks. I wouldn't call it "difficult", although the fiddler's apparent soviet simplicity is deceiving. You can make anything in SP, as long as you spend the parts. I could really have used those rockets, though ;)
@Hedero really..? Personally I think it's utter nonsense :D :D perhaps I should post a toilet pot with an atomic-bomb-turd or somesuch. I'm sure everyone will love it...
@Faulknerice You could be right. Still, though... the trolley will disengage as soon as you rotate; if it fails to do so, you either have an old SP version, are running this on a potato, or rotate at the (very) wrong moment. On a normal takeoff, I have no probs. On launching the mistel, the main plane just keeps going on its current course; if you crash, that probably means you're switching to the mistel cam and are completely disregarding the fact that someone has to fly the plane. Or perhaps you're just not flying straight; dropping the mistel is never a good idea when either diving or climbing. That's not an SP thing; it wouldn't be a good "real world" practice either. Same goes for simple bombing, by the way. I suggest you try a reasonable approach at high physics setting.
I fail to see the point. In SP, it's easy enough to build a craft that defies the laws of physics; you can make a brick accelerate like a rocket, and pull 8+ G turns with funny stuff like a flying lawnmower. Building something that actually flies like a plane is a bit more difficult. Not a big fan, sorry.
Kudos... absolutely one of the better looking A10's on SP! I should have made one myself for this challenge, perhaps, but I figured there would be a warthog-flood, so I entered someting a bit more "low-key". Still, your A10 makes my fingers itch; I will certainly cook one up in future. Well done!
@Yalikejazz79 @arduino there's no need for a "no mod version". The mod, in this case, is cosmetic only -you don't actually need it to use the plane, it's just some pretty clocks on the dash. Download the plane, click "OK" when SP complains about the mod, click "undo" and then "redo"... the plane will load without the mod.
Your build looks like absolute sh*e, a real disaster. It's by far the most hideous SP build I've ever seen.
In other words: you managed to build the best replica of the "Brawny" I've seen on this site so far. You're an artist -though the plane's original designer clearly wasn't ;)
@AerialFighterSnakes It has afterburners. You don't scare away goats, you roast 'em.

Looks like a Lada to me... :D

It looks quite nice... but on second thought; what's with the ailerons popping out of the wings..?? Custom controls would be a minimum :s
+1@Grizzlitn_CFSP Thanks. I wouldn't call it "difficult", although the fiddler's apparent soviet simplicity is deceiving. You can make anything in SP, as long as you spend the parts. I could really have used those rockets, though ;)
+1@metallicplanes ... and so you lost me again :s
@metallicplanes nope, I didn't. Sorry 'bout that.
@metallicplanes I still haven't the faintest what your comment was about. Care to elaborate?
@MobileFriendly OK -well, I guess we can add that kind of hardware ourselves if we want to. Point taken. Again, very nice & clean build.
Nice build, especially with so few parts. One question though; since it's indeed a ground attack plane, where are the GBU's?
+1@metallicplanes wot..?
Thanks all! This old soviet hulk is a lot more popular than I expected it to be ;)
+1Ah yes, in those days it was actually a Toyota. They have given up now, and seem to be happy to put some badly designed bodywork on a BMW chassis.
+3@Hedero really..? Personally I think it's utter nonsense :D :D perhaps I should post a toilet pot with an atomic-bomb-turd or somesuch. I'm sure everyone will love it...

Badass... a P-94 :p

@GG66 why not?
@GG66 well, I felt like a seaplane this time :D but be my guest, throw away the floats and slap on some wheels.
Thanks! With such fierce competition, i'm more than happy with 4th...
@GlargiBoo how so, fast? Doesn't take all that long to put together a plane that has simple, straight wings and a straightforward fuselage shape.
@switdog08 I guess you could use a B47 for fire fighting. They put out oil well fires by dropping bombs into them, right? ;)

Nice build!!

@123456sty get a better phone ;D
@ACEPILOT109 yeah, well... it's just an existing build to which I added the rockets, so...
@ShootsPlanes then I suggest you poach a few rockets off my build and paste those onto a C130 XD

+2@MAHADI well thanks... but it's not, really. Just painstakingly copying and nudging a rocket 45 times... XD it does look kinda cool on takeoff though.
@V22Osprey dunno... doesn't it work? Haven't tried it. Probably not a good idea, the build being close to 2k parts. But theoretically it should work.
Your build looks like absolute sh*e, a real disaster. It's by far the most hideous SP build I've ever seen.

Vintage steampunk. Nice build!
+2@MajorSix yeah, go figure... a '39 engine in a '42 plane. Pure magic.
Very nice graphics on this thing!
@BogdanX Thanks!
@BubbleLukasie nope, afraid not... it's just there for show. Would be pointless, since it's just the reichenberg minus the cockpit (ergo, a V1)
One swallow does not make a summer... so we can always use more swallows. And this, I must say, is a rather nice one.
+1Horten hears a Ho... ;)
+1@Weirdoguymajig well... I have no idea what you want exactly, of course...
Nice. But what's with all the grips? Is this the wingwalker-version..? ;)
+1@Weirdoguymajig sure mate, go right ahead!
@Raptor787 just DL the plane... when you get the blabla about the mod, press "okay" -then click undo, then redo. Presto, one plane minus the mod.
@Raptor787 u can just DL the plane and use without mod.
