@SnoWFLakE0s Well, MXAO (ambient occlusion shader for reshade) is a sorta alternative to actual shadows. It more just makes tight indents darker and big surfaces lighter. You could also experiment with making a shadow manually in Photoshop I guess, but I haven't tried that.
There is a certain exploit that allows white users to upvote builds (not forums and videos). I will not tell you what it is, since the moderators have decided that you aren't allowed to use it any more. Just know that it is technically still possible.
You can add the image into the actual forum post by typing this: 
I have quite some time ago transitioned to making all connections manually. This means that whenever I place a new block I remove all connections and add the connections I want manually.
What is also useful, especially on builds with moving parts like your swing wing, is temporarily nudging out the moving part that you are working on. This way you won't get any automatic connections to parts that you don't want it to connect to.
You should write a bit about each build. Right now people might as well just browse the website. You can give a small review, say what you like, stuff like that. That would make this a lot better and it would actually make it different from just browsing airplanes by hottest.
Try using a bit less fuselage blocks. This will get rid of that weird effect on the side. If you use the smooth feature you will still get a very nice result, and all that with less parts.
Mine at the moment is "Black" from Pearl Jam. I also really like "Everlong" from Foo Fighters, "Basket Case" from Green Day and The Cure's "A Forest", just to name a few.
The user interface of SimplePlanes is kind of unorthodox, but it just takes getting used to. The best way to get used to it is to just build with it a lot.
Did you adopt it yourself or did your parents? Cats are not quite as high maintenance as some other pets, but they can still be quite a hand full. There is a reason that so many cats get dumped at the animal shelter.
