why limit the countermeasure to just 1-2 buckets? (AN/ALE-45s carries 30 chaffs in a chaff bucket, and 15 flares in a flare bucket, it can carry 8 of them)
for me, what I'd do for the maneuverability is I put a hidden wing inside the root extension and match it to the size of it
it makes the aircraft maneuverable enough to the point it becomes supermaneuverable
for speed, I put drag multiplier on most fuselage blocks onto 0.1, would recommend if you have alot of fuselage blocks to work with (around maybe 300pt frame alone, minimum), but adjust it so it feels good
this solves the speed issue without having to overpower the engine, but it makes another problem which is energy sustainability
since drag is low, you can easily keep your kinetic energy, or even increase it even when it's supposed to decrease
this can be solved with a simple airbrake that has the code of: -AngleOfAttack/SENSITIVITY
this is how I do stuff most of the time
ask the mods if it's already published to make it a successor to what you want
if you haven't however, you can just download the original predecessor, modify it however you want and upload it
some people you have to ask for permission, so just be careful
you basically have the same permission to do what you can do to other people with yourself
with extra permissions

Asking and expecting people to make "realistic" creations in this game is like hiring a person who only does shit with Legos for Lockheed Martin Skunk Works. It's not impossible for said person to pull it off, but said person would really, extremely struggle to pull it off.

the regular CFTs could be replaced with FAST Packs, that way you don't need to sacrifice the hardpoints below the fuselage for the CFTs, and you can carry extra 4 hardpoints which granted, makes the aircraft heavier, but I'd say it's worth the problem
though I do like the canard, that position might be a bit troublesome, because the gun (irl) might be blocked by the canard, my suggestion is putting it further up or make it smaller, and changing the M61A1 to an M61A2, for that extra space
nop, tires are not braking by default (though I wish there was an option to activate that in game, aside from using a switch that has the input of "Brake")
try using overload and putting the value of "brakeTorque" to 0

you're not going to get anywhere by just modifying the base planes
in this game, you have to get smart to make something good looking, you're not going to really learn unless you try making something from scratch by yourself
so really, the first step I would suggest is make a plane by yourself, whether it's fictional or replica
I suggest making a replica though because it's more complicated than a simple longated fuselage body, which could help you learn how to make stuff, speaking from experience
if it seems like you run into a brick wall, you can ask for a help from other peeps
don't forget
this isn't a aaa game
jundroo is an indie company working with just few peoples, you can't expect them to bump out updates every month like how tencent does them
