I shall add one that I've seen some people often forget on RP's, build your weapons on SP, so you have a basis that your weapons exist and their capabilities and flaws. also other people can test them and see if their weapon systems are competitive enough
@hopotumon maybe, but I'd prefer by power ratio/drag. I remember when testing, a few times my Ta183 climbed above 30.000ft and made unstable planes stall, so even after running out of fuel, mine just glided in a boom & zoom and scored the kill with guns xd
the ring placing is a good idea, as some tracks have rings way outside of the racing line, meaning that most vehicles crash even tho they are capable of racing on good hands. I've seen too many good vehicles crash on Gold prix due to the semi-final ring...
regarding this, there should be an overspeed range in wich the engine is safe. some engines are set for 3200rpm, but they can perfectly reach 3600rpm if needed(Ex: Fw190 BMW801), so the real over-rev would be past 3600rpm, I wish such feature existed to set a RPM extra range so it doesn't blow up for overspeeding by 10RPM...
how can I test the F-52 Juggernaut? the Dark arrow is giving me some serious headaches at close range, but it's vulnerable to interceptors at long range
@MTakach for that you could add blind spots, say, you need a blind spot at a certain angle, so you have a circle, meaning the traverse, the light-up section is the fire section and the dark one is the blind spot, so let's say, you have a turret that traverses 160° horizontal, but your tail is in the way, so you put: "Add blind spot" then a dark bar appears and you set the location and amount of degrees it covers, so the gunner won't fire while aiming at your tail... idk how that code could be implemented, but It's an Idea I just thought :3
@JohnnyBoythePilot the only Fw190 in reno air race to my knowledge is "What da Focke-Wulf" This Fw190 is a Flugwerk model, meaning it's a Post-production model, recreating as much of the original plane with the original blueprints and the addition of new component's or improvements (such as underwing radiators) here we can see this Fw190 with the Galloping ghost on his tail back in 2010 and here doing a lap in 2011
a small tip, make the crankshaft angles be simetrical, in short, rotate each "rotor" every 15° for a more clean and smoother run.(short math: 360/6=60 and each rotor is 4 blades so 60/4=15)
@JohnnyBoythePilot a cool alternative would be replica planes, I just want to see a Flugwerk Fw190 D run in Reno with a modern engine, it would make a decent competitor I suppose.
very good aircraft, but I have only one complain, the rear suspension is too stiff in comparison to the frontal one, making the frontal one bottom out nearly always
@doge just asking, from what year is that veteran pc? my brothers PC from 2007 got retired this year due to low performance on WarThunder (now in storage on my room)
-ECS Black Edition AM2+ Motherboard
-AMD Phenom X4 (2.3Ghz)
-EVGA NVidia GT9500 1GB(original)/ Asus Nvidia GTX 750Ti 2GB(last upgrade)
-8GB RAM DDR2 1066mhz
@Aerofy plane is nearly ready, I just dont know if to add decals or leave it full aluminium... anyways, it's a single engine cannard just as fast as Voodoo
@HarrisCraft ohh, thank you!
how did you make the turret so steady on traverse? the one I have in my tank is also gyro-operated, but if on the move, it sways everywhere...

@Spikerya I'm surprised you found this old racing gem hahaah, thx for the upvote!
+1@tylerdeveneuxmusic thank you very much!

+4@hopotumon thank you very much!
in my humble opinion, the best beverage is Mead
+3is this Mod-ception?! Congrats on your achievement @Mod
so my plane lost because lack of fuel... I wonder why AI doesn't climb to the operational height of that plane, which is above 20.000ft...
+1@TheFantasticTyphoon I meant, I can't find the F-52 on your profile, unless I overlooked...

+1Russian Bias

@JohnnyBoythePilot thank you very much, glad you like the design!
can you show us the values on Overload pls? so we can copy this setup
WarThunder, Wot, The Crew, Nier Automata, Borderlands 2, FFXIV
+1@USSR @SodiumChloride @SakuraSaku thank you very much! I hope you enjoy the aircraft and don't forget to join the race!
Congrats!
@Aerofy thank you! took quite a few days upgrading it hahaha, but I managed to achieve that curvy and armoniuos design that I wanted :3
@Aerofy I just posetd my entry :3
will this be your entry for the Light Sport air race?
@Aerofy sorry, I was busy doing stuff and working during that day oops
@Aerofy, I just found a video of the Pond racer at Reno air races! click video

and here we have, the first wankel engine of Simpleplanes!

+1@ZHUAREVONI thank you very much! have fun flying this piston-engine machine and try to not blow up the engines!
@ZHUAREVONI thank you very much! hope you enjoy sailing!
+1my plane is ready, but just a humble warning, I may randomly flatspin from time to time as my plane is very unstable
very good aircraft, but I have only one complain, the rear suspension is too stiff in comparison to the frontal one, making the frontal one bottom out nearly always
+1@MisterT then my notebook should handle it... I7 3635QM 3.4Ghz, 12GB ram, Radeon R9M200x 2GB and a 500GB SSD
@JamesBleriot why?
F
@Viper3000ad np! I'm glad you like my engines!
also, I havent seen my SP rivals in the last tournaments, KiNo, Typhlosion130, brucethemoose
@belugasub thank you very much!
@JediWolf the question now it's if someone can make a triangular me262... I've seen very few of them, including mine.
@ThomasRoderick thank you! :3
@ThomasRoderick thank you very much! make sure to test out the latest A10 version!
@doge cool, it's nice to see one of those old machines still running

time to bring back my BMW E30!

question, can I shorten my rear landing gear a bit? not that it affects flight performance, but my takeoff speed is 2.5 times my landing speed...Oops
