@TheUltimatePlaneLover In Indonesian, AU means Angkatan Udara (Air Force), whereas AURI means Angkatan Udara Republik Indonesia (Indonesian Republic Air Force). The Indonesian Air Force is typically refered as TNI-AU (Tentara Nasional Indonesia Angkatan Udara, lit. Indonesian National Military Air Force)
@MIGFOXHOUND31BSM26 well, when making that scene, I was looking for three types of helicopters, one is a pure replica, the other is a semi-replica (fictional helicopter, prototype, concept, so on), and the last, is a purely unique helicopter, one born solely from imagination and creativity, free from the constraints and rigidness of a replica and standing unique in its own right. That helicopter fits the bill spot on.
Basically, that helicopter is unique because it is the most imaginative out of the three, that's all :)
Firstly, i want to say thank you so much for the support over the years, this will be my last cinematic ever made... in 2024, as obviously 2025 is coming and I will be making videos as usual next year. Speaking of next year, SimplePlanes 2 is also supposed to be released in that time, so, I wish to give tribute to the original SimplePlanes and it's 10 years of existence, as well to it's community and the many masterpieces made throughout. I hope 2025 will bring all of us good times and good fortune, and we will all be able to create and thrive for many years to come.
Secondly, apologize for not notifying anyone to use their builds in this video, and apologies if you expect certain builds to appear here. I made this video in a week and didn't have time to ask every single creator for permission, and each build is supposed to represent many other builds like it, all of these builds is all I could fit within reason in this video. So, as a sign of gratitude and goodwill, I am linking all builds shown here in the comment below.
Thirdly, happy holidays, and happy new year.
See you in 2025!
@MIGFOXHOUND31BSM26 for editing software, I've been using Filmora9 up until mid-2024, now I'm using DaVinci Resolve
As for tips, well there's a lot and I'm still learning too, but the most important are :
• Planning, plan how each shot is going to be and the method to take the shot
• Variety, take shots from different angles, make the subject (plane, tanks, etc) do different things, change the setting and/or location, etc
• And most importantly, reference, essentially just look up other cinematics to get ideas and inspirations
Hope this helps!
@MIGFOXHOUND31BSM26 Well, it's a long story, to put it simply, I saw some internet drama back then and decided to literally make that into an Ace Combat-esque webseries, I had an entire story about this premise and planned 14 whole episodes about it, never end up going through with it because I realized it's cringe. This video was the pilot to that series I believe.
I have moved on from this idea but would like to remake it in a new form someday, without all that internet drama jazz. If you're curious as to what that internet drama was, check the first video of 2023 on my channel.
@rorrE most of them aren't fully finished yet, the Su-57 for example still has no weapons bay or cockpit, same as with the other planes (like say the Su-30SM or Tornado GR.1). I will finish them later when I got the
time and motivation, so they will be uploaded... eventually.
The plane had a weapons bay but it's empty, because I forgot the plane had one to begin with 💀 (the consequences of forgetting a completed plane for a year)
@LunarEclipseSP Thanks, I made all the planes myself, though only 5 of them were built from scratch (K5Y, P51, MiG-17, Mig-21, and A-4), the rest are older builds with liveries painted
Planes will be released after they are fully completed, however most of them wouldn't have a cockpit built in, except for maybe the KF-21. Planes would be released in a period from now to late August, although most likely it'll be into September or even October.
Planes to be released (in order)
• K5Y1
• P-51D
• MiG-17PF
• MiG-21F-13
• A-4E Skyhawk
• F-5E Tiger II
• F-16C Block 52ID
• Su-30MKK
• Rafale F.3
• F-15IDN
• KF-21
Edit : nvm lmao, lost motivation immediately after posting this video, planes will be completed eventually but not in the near future probably, sorry for the inconvenience
@WisconsinStatePolice The bearing was relative to the plane, so front of the plane would've been 000 and the rear 360, and the 104 was heading from east to west, that's why the pilot called out a seemingly contradicting bearing. I admit that's probably not how it works realistically, as they'd probably use a Bullseye, a floating point in the sky that's relative to earth, but I used this method instead to create a different battle management system for the Sakuriyans (the 104's home country). The Rokushe AWACS was also using bearings relative to the planes too FYI.
@pawpatrol02 @USSArizona yea this was due to the gyros on the boosters (possibly), there really isn't any way to fix it other than making the gyros super stable which stiffens the missile launch, sorry about that.
@combinetheelite well, any island really... As long as you're shooting from the other island
but fr though, if you are on PC, Maywar's big enough, but on mobile, Snowstone is enough
@SpecialScientificSearch The missiles are like that in real life, it's less maneuverable than the S-75 as it is way heavier (2,3 tons vs 7,1 tons). The minimum distance of this missile is 17km from the target
@DatRoadTrainGuy19 Yeah I was away for more important things irl (in fact I kinda still am rn) but I just happen to have spare time recently. Well, hopefully I can return with some build or something later.
@PedjoeangPatriot 😁
@pulmoscorpus The missiles would only activate if you're behind the target
+1@Erionh Oh there's also something else besides that text
There's a teaser in this build, can you guess for what?
@TheUltimatePlaneLover In Indonesian, AU means Angkatan Udara (Air Force), whereas AURI means Angkatan Udara Republik Indonesia (Indonesian Republic Air Force). For a cinematic I'm making, planning to release it either tomorrow or January 1st

The cinematic I teased yesterday, enjoy.
@YarisSedan It's my own original universe
Teaser for a cinematic I'm making, hopefully its epic
@Toyotakijang1978 finally someone got the joke
Despite the resolution, this cinematic beats basically everything I've made, well done!

+1@WinsWings I made the main MiG into a subassembly and put 4 of them into the build, then all of them are connected with a "formation connector" contraption based on this YouTube video

I will be posting the fire special effects later on, there's also lore in the description if you're interested in that.
+1Man I wish someone would make a simple plane
2 :
@DasAbhinab Sure man, do anything you want with it
+1@DasAbhinab it's my MiG-29 but with a North Korean camo, here's the main one
@Dracul0Anderson stay tuned :)

+1Disclaimer, I'm not trying to go against anything here okay? Just wanting to test out a story concept.
Now, I wanna ask just one question.
is it cringe? Or not?
@CCCP0000001 F-15 would be the first plane post of the year most likely, Su-30 (in this case the Su-30SM) would come much later
+1Happy new year, enjoy.
+1@DatMaluchGuy19 Currently making a Mil Mi-35P, but the next upload would probably be an Iranian F-14 or the F-15s in this video.
+2@Brayden1981 Hehe don't worry, I won't be leaving anytime soon 😊

I will publish this later, apparently I had too many posts in the past 24 hours
