@YarisSedan I just pushed another update, but I have not been able to reproduce the issue so I'm not sure if I fixed it. Please check and let me know. If it's still broken, please send me a link to a craft that demonstrate the issue.
Looks like you need to edit the URL attribute of the Aircraft element in the XML to match the URL of the craft you are uploading to. Should be a six character string. Sometimes it's difficult to edit game files on a mobile device, so this would be much easier on a PC.
@V @TheMouse It appears this is how the site has always handled hyperlinks, because I rolled back before my recent change and checked. You can fix it easy enough by putting using https://3ds.hacks.guide for the link instead of 3ds.hacks.guide
@GuardianAerospace yes, we'll have a chat message UI in the game so you can talk via text, but I imagine most players will just use Discord for voice chat.
This is a nice build and I noticed a few things that could really improve the VR experience:
1) Lever for VTOL in the cockpit
2) Airspeed gauge is not working properly (ensure its Preset is set to Speed 400)
3) There's a random throttle slider on the floor, which seems out of place
What version are you using? There were several bugs related to the wheels in the first beta (all my fault), but they should all be fixed now in beta version 1.12.122+
Beautiful craft and I would love to curate but none of the controls can be grabbed in VR. In order to make a custom control grabbable in VR, you need to use Joystick Base part instead of rotators. You can basically swap out your current rotators for Joystick Base parts and just set the input rotation axes to what you want them to control. Also, for the yoke, it might be good to use the Cylinder Grips where you want the player's hands to grip.
If you need any help, just let me know. I'd love to help get this awesome airplane ready for VR.
@ren64 We just pushed out an update that should fix the issue on your Mac. After you try the update (v1.12.118.2), let us know if it works or not. Sorry for the inconvenience!
Finally, a gyro that I can take the whole family on vacation with! I would love to curate this for VR, but the camera position is so low on the seat. If you can move the camera up a bit, let me know and I'll check it out again for curation. Also, the flight stick is very low too. If it was just a little higher that would also help.
@Hedero @PapaKernels That was my addition, sorry for the UI annoyance. I have fixed this so that it won't select the other part if you tap and hold on mobile. Sadly, it is very unlikely to make it in for the release on Friday, but it will be in the next update.
I fixed the yoke setup so it would work in VR and uploaded here. If you want to take the tweaks and update your XML, you are welcome to do so and I can take my post down. I just really want VR players to be able to fly this amazing plane. Very nice work!
We added a new feature that hasn't been released yet that makes engine/wind/etc audio quieter when flying from the cockpit camera. I tweaked the XML of your camera part to disable that so when the update goes live your audio won't be quiet since this is an open cockpit.
Nice build. One thing that could improve the VR immersion is to add a fighter throttle part so VR players can adjust throttle without needing to use the analog stick on their controllers.
@Default4 It performs okay, except I have trouble taking off because it wants to veer to the right on the runway. That might an issue with low-quality (mobile) physics messing with the wheels. Other small suggestions: A trim lever and a switch/lever for landing gear would be nice. The airspeed gauge isn't working. I think you may have selected Airspeed Face Type instead of the Airspeed Preset. I know it's confusing and we want to improve that. The airspeed gauge is also a little small and the fuel gauge is much bigger, which makes me think their sizes could be switched since airspeed is a little more important to be able to read quickly than fuel. Overall it's a nice build.
Very cool idea and execution. I checked this out in VR and the grab points on the sail and rudder are too large and when I grab them my hand sinks inside of them, making them disappear. Other than that it's really cool.
@EdamCheese6 The VR view will work from any view, but on planes that aren't optimized for VR the cockpit view is very close to the fuselage and doesn't always look the best.
@speedster4006 Contact us again via the contact link below.
+4Reported. This is a copy of my plane.

+3@Omega6siege yes, limited based on part count could be another option.

+3@YarisSedan Thanks for letting me know. I believe I broke this today. I'll look into it tomorrow. Should be easy to fix.

+3@windshifter1 good feedback, thanks! I agree and we are really doing our best to maintain the atmosphere and vibe of SimplePlanes with the sequel.

@Apollo018362 Yep, Nathan, Philip, and I typically handle the curation for VR crafts.
+3@GuardianAerospace yes, we'll have a chat message UI in the game so you can talk via text, but I imagine most players will just use Discord for voice chat.
+3@Graingy hats are a good idea. We will certainly be looking ways to customize Chad.
+3It's a great build, but unfortunately I cannot curate it for VR because the performance cost is too high and it runs too slowly on Quest devices.
+3Should be fixed now. Thanks for letting us know!
+3@Dracul0Anderson Funky Trees should not be affected by this update and should still work as it did.
+3@IzzyIA We upgraded Unity and had to update the input system due to compatibility issues with the old version.
+3Sorry to hear it's not running well. If it started recently then it sounds like it could be an issue with your machine.

+3@Korzalerke That works! Thank you so much!
+3Yikes! Can you upload this craft so we can investigate?
+3Nice build. The gauges are not working properly. Ensure you are selecting Preset instead of just using Gauge Face in part properties.
+3@TatsuTheOtaku That's great! I'm looking forward to checking that out in VR!
+3You are a wizard of the funk! So cool!

+3@Kangy nah, you don’t need all that. All you need is a $299 Oculus Quest 2!
+3@Hayhayjam664 if you play in VR in the original SimplePlanes, then yes the multiplayer mod should work while you are in VR mode.

+3Really cool craft. Only issue in VR is the camera is a bit too low in the seat.
+3@JohnnyBoythePilot no, it doesn’t need the mobile friendly tag, but it should have the VR tag, otherwise we might not see it.
+3Green flair is for the Curator role that I added today.

+3@monke123456765456765 hi!
+3@JuanNotAnAlt if things go well, we might release this update as early as next week.
+3I'll fix it for you.
+3@Nofferston Sorry, no plans for Google cardboard support.
+3@poenix yes, mods should work with SPVR on Steam (not Oculus Quest).
