Challenge organizer: “Noooo! You cannot just cheat the challenge with a detacher! You’re disqualified from all challenges! Nooooo!”
The cheater: “Haha, detacher go tchish!”
I played simple planes, since 2016. I lurked the site and know a lot. Now, I am here and I know the very happenings...
.
- Low quality planes, made for a particular youtuber, flooding the site, to the point that a new rule and tag was made.
- A user that got bullied to leave the game because of his low-quality crafts and high upvotes, not abiding to expectations.
- A human post that got controversy because of allegedly breaking the no sexuality rules.
- An user that got too problematic and got perma-ip-banned but now exists as a separate user.
- A now left former moderator, regarded as ban-happy by many during his term as a moderator.
- Another poor user, bullied to quit the game, never to be seen again.
- An airbrake-laden plane that got too much upvotes because of one user’s post, became controversial, removed a lot, and now stands at 4th place for most upvotes.
- Moderation incidents that led to the reform on the site + the first extraterritorial rule by the site.
- One of the moderators getting demoted for a reason.
SimplePlanes was not made to be an AAA title, nor do any of the developers have time and money to put the features you described in the game?
.
According to Wikipedia, reviewers have a somewhat mixed to average. The reviewers praised the realistic campaigns and the sandbox mode, but criticized the game for it’s controls and the building methods. It should be known that it may have been pretty obsolete, since SimplePlanes received a lot of updates that improve it’s gameplay.
I think this is a model that only works in fiction. Pressurized hulls need less glass and more thickness. An exploration submarine usually has a complement of equipment. Otherwise nice work.
People type “t” instead of “ hello, could you tag me when the post is out ?” not only because it is easier and more convenient that way, and it also helps users with language barriers communicate more effectively without having to use a translator that can make serious errors. What you should not do is to type “t” or ask for a tag and expect to be tagged on a non-teaser post, mainly because it annoys the poster and that could lead to newer users repeating what you say, expecting that they will be tagged. I hope that helps. Thanks.

Tully2001 was once a moderator, the one with the most points at one time, who developed a reputation of being “ban happy”; he uses various methods (like asking for their age) to try and ban as many people as he can. As of 2022, I have never seen the community mentioning Tully2001 again.
Various. Either because the builds you uploaded are not up to their standards (lots of detail, realistic mechanics, coolness, good background, cool thumbnails, et cetera) or they are just not interested in upvoting anyways. You should give up trying to get as many upvotes as you can, as that can hinder your creativity and make you always unhappy. Just focus on the creative side of the game.
@AeroAeroTheMen, to submit your craft into said challenge, you need to read this.
.
Lemme give you the summary here:
To put your craft into the challenge. Your craft must be under 350! You must tag the craft in the following:
VR
Challenge
Mobile Friendly
Also your craft must be submitted in one of the categories:
Military, aircraft with guns.
Civilian, fun to fly, pretty unique mechanics.
Experimental, very unique mechanics such as a mini game, a car controlled by 2 levers, a grabbable interactive object, et cetera.
You can submit only once in each category.
The winners are judged by the amount of upvotes, but the lesser part counts the craft has, the more “upvotes” said craft will be counted. Winners will get a SPVR steam key and a ton of points, depending on the place you’re in.
.
Thank you and I hope this is accurate.
.
P.S. @pedro16797, please pin this so other users can read this post.
We are very sorry that you have to go through all of this, but please don’t kill yourself, it does not solve your problems. You should talk to your family members, friends, and/or medical professionals about your condition and how to cope with it.

According to multiple sources, Wave Browser appears to be a browser that collects a lot of data (even personal data) that is sold to advertisers, despite claiming to provide privacy. Once installed, it also makes system-level changes so that it continuously reinstalls itself, once you try to uninstall it.
.
Yes, I have seen 2 different browsers using the name “Wave Browser” (not sure what this one leads to), however, it is quite unclear whether these 2 are related or not. Don’t try both of them.
.
Yes, they tend to get into advertisements. There have been “your phone is hacked, get a virus” false warnings in advertisements that tricks users into downloading viruses.
I have looked up Verifpro, and found Verifpro, a website that sells financial accounts (e.g. PayPal accounts, bank accounts, et cetera, all likely stolen). The link might lead to the same Verifpro website. For whatever reason it is, the people behind Verifpro appear to have successfully compromised these accounts, through other methods, turning these accounts into adbots.
.
I suggest redacting the link for safety purposes.
Unfortunately, while they can accept your apology, they might not remove the strike (speculation). You should have made a passcode to your phone to prevent unauthorized access by third parties like your brother.
In Simpleplanes, the developers named their replicas with names other than the vehicles they were meant to represent, due to trademark reasons. These names were usually named after some aspect of the vehicle, for example, WASP for the F-18 Hornet, as a wasp is a similar aggressive bee like the hornet is. As for hellkeska, it seems to be applied to the plane’s many bombs that could cause hellish conditions for the enemies bombed.
Imagine if we had to forever abandon our open culture of generosity and revert to strict “no copying, no successors, no taking parts” methodology. Many western artists, especially those from Deviantart, adopted said methodology because they are fed up with all the copying and plagiarism taking place. This is why an amount of respect should be considered, so they will still be comfortable to become generous, without feeling like being ripped off. Otherwise, what would be become of simpleplanes.com?
. An Important Concern regarding this website
.
Thanks

BellKitsu.
Greetings everybody, this is Cozy Arduous News bringing you some news:
A new poorly made airbrake-laden plane appears and is gaining popularity!
.
The question is the previous airbrake laden plane had caused drama because of it’s popularity! Will this new one cause drama like before or will the popularity subside? We will just have to see...
I hope this build would not end up in another drama again, considering this was based on a controversial build that got lots of drama, moderators had to intervene.
.
With this, I shall reiterate my statement:
To those who visit this build
I beg you all not to send hate or incite drama, just because of this anime character; it doesn’t work, it just ruins the website and therefore creativity.
SimpleWheels is nowhere to be found nowadays.
.
SimpleWheels is a joke game released by Jundroo during April fools day and thus it might not be updated or rereleased again.
.
One notable thing about this game is that it laid the groundwork for SimplePlanes. Old versions of SimplePlanes retained the main menu from SimpleWheels and SimpleRockets, until a big update changed the menu to what we know today.
No offense, but it looks like if some mad scientist shrank the back half of the plane. And it won’t likely fly in real life and in SimplePlanes anyways, because of all that huge, bulbous front fuselage of yours. Where did you get the cockpit from anyways?
I can see a gradual release every week. Don’t release the XML upload feature too near the deadline; otherwise the small users won’t be able to refine the curated crafts in time.
.
Also, I would highly recommend you introduce a feature to also reupload the thumbnails, so the thumbnails are up to date with the aircraft and won’t cause any troubles for moderation. :)
.
A little longer again then I can finally upload XML...
.
PS: you should pin this like before.
Seriously, this? My computer has an autoscroll that is triggered by pressing the middle button and you made an exercise of scrolling down the page!? No offense, Is this even a joke or just a personal practice?
.
And you even renamed it from “Scroll Wheel Exercise” to “The plunge”.
I wonder what will Andy Gary respond to? Deleting this and permabanning the user because his dark side was exposed, or joke around it to turn this post into a harmless joke?
I agree with SupremeDorian here. I have reported multiple of these and it seems that the moderators did their job pretty well. I encourage you all to do the same. Thanks.
.
Thank you PlaneFlightX for providing a very credible answer. I should have come up with that answer days ago. My bad. X/
These are usually conducted by either small to mid businesses or advertisers, as it is quite cheaper than, let’s say, getting a lot in an advertisement.
How does a golfer survive his free fall?
.
His golf bag is this one, which has a drag parachute, and the golfer deploys it it to slow down his descent, allowing him to survive!
I don’t think the politics might end soon.
.
Politics not only ruins the building aspect of the game, it also incentivizes other users to put confronting politics and insults at one another, turning this site into a bellhole. As more and more people decided to take politics into their own hands, the rules become harder to enforce. Imagine having to shut down the forums and comments system because of the contents being only political bickering.
.
So please move your politics elsewhere, like discord, if you want to preserve the site and the forums and comments section that way.
The developers did choose a fixed terrain instead of a procedurally generated one. As their experience was limited at the time of when SimplePlanes was made, the terrain tend to primitive, especially Wright Islands with it’s distinctive texture.
The creator did not authorize the picture to be used, therefore the use is considered copyright infringement (it’s not even fair use). Jundroo or creator may take any and every legal action, including sending DMCA takedowns, soon.
Ah, every newbies’ childhood memories, restored by this post.
.
Can you replace the cockpit with the standard one, the new props with the old props, and the gear wheels with wheels on pylons?
He has turned into a living AI, ready to take over simpleplanes.com.
