@jamesPLANESiiKind, kind of, sometimes you come up with good ideas when you try to make something you added just because you liked it actually make sense. This isn’t the best example, but on this build, I decided very late to make the cockpit asymmetrical because the view from it just wasn’t good enough. Now, it’s one of my favorite things about the design.
@dabestsock,You can't directly control the "fireWeapons" and "FireGuns" inputs, which are required to fire. However, you can set them as button outputs. The buttons you're supposed to press simply keep these two signals constantly set to true. This allows you to control when to fire the weapon by coding that logic into its activation. I also use this in my auto firing guns
Well, This has 96 parts, but I built it to be fun for dogfighting, and it even features a rear gunner. Additionally, it is from a somewhat similar time period as yours
@thekingofgods, Wow, thank you for the kind words! I agree; it would probably look better if it were a bit wider. However, if I were to rebuild this, I would change up quite a few things.
@Rondine, The idea is that the prop is powered by the engine inside the plane through a driveshaft. You can see the exhaust system of the engine in the front of the plane; the thing on top is just a gearbox.
