Well, This has 96 parts, but I built it to be fun for dogfighting, and it even features a rear gunner. Additionally, it is from a somewhat similar time period as yours
@thekingofgods, Wow, thank you for the kind words! I agree; it would probably look better if it were a bit wider. However, if I were to rebuild this, I would change up quite a few things.
@Rondine, The idea is that the prop is powered by the engine inside the plane through a driveshaft. You can see the exhaust system of the engine in the front of the plane; the thing on top is just a gearbox.
@XEP, I don't know if the prop is too small, it might be. The layout is purely fictional; this build prioritizes looks over anything else. Also, I don't see a reason to connect the engine with the guns as they are not meant to be synchronized. Yes, weight would probably be an issue, the wings are a bit far behind the engine. There is also a land version without the funky prop placement if you'd prefer that: here you go
@AuroraPlanes, Oh, sorry, I forgot to remove that on the blue one, I made it so the engine only activates after the airspeed is greater than some value. To fix that, go into the XML settings of the prop, then to input control, and change the activation group from 'IAS>10' to '0'. Alternatively, you can fly one of the other two (sorry I forgot to take that out).
@RepublicOfCursedPlanes, it was a struggle, I had a few more "experimental" details on these, but those involved really odd intake slicing, so I took that out
@idk201011323, I recently read 'The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy' and 'Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency.' I love the way Douglas Adams writes, so I attempted to do something like it myself. Thank you for noticing, terrific!
@jamesPLANESii, I thought the thumbnail would attract people (also because I thought it looked pretty), but it seems like it is going under...and thank you! :D
Das ist echt gut!
+1Woooooooooooooooooooooow
+1@NGC543, Nah, that English is pretty bad. What are you doing on this 4.6-year-old forum anyways?
@MobileBuilder21, thank you very much!
@sharkysSPacc, you don't have to stop at only one bomber formation
something like this #5e2531
@FrankieTheAvi8or, thank you. I really like the profile of this plane
@LonelySea22, feel free to ask questions if there are any
if you want the engine to rotate at the same rpm as the prop, you can use something like I used here
@CrazyCatZe, exacly what im going for, thank you!
@LonelySea22, I'm really appreciating all the nice words here. Did you fly the fixed version?
@Sockdragger, right?
@Speedhunter, thanks you very much
There is a problem with a last second code change of the Auto Level, I updated the xml file, its Fixed

@Rondine, good to hear you like it
@Liquidfox01, The propeller was a weird design choice (I even got a bit of backlash for it), but I think it works well. Thank you
@Bryan5
@ToeTips
@DatMaluchGuy19
@ToeTips, its more of a successor
@QazEEqaZ, thank you

@Graingy, ill try that, thanks
amazing
for a quick fix use clamp01() whenever you have a Boolean (instead of a>bc>d do clamp01(a>b)clamp01(c>d).....)
ah, another PicsArt user
@Zaineman, honored to be there, get well soon!
I just checked your bio out, it is the longest book I have ever read
@Blueshift, thank you! really glad people enjoy it

@Graingy, what do you mean by that
@FlyingThings, glad you like it and thank you!
@ <MrSilverWolf> sorry for the tag, but could you put this as a succesor to the the Airship Challenge by EternalDarkness., that would be great!
@jamesPLANESii, I thought the thumbnail would attract people (also because I thought it looked pretty), but it seems like it is going under...and thank you! :D
