Thank you for the awesome feedback! It really makes me feel good that such an advanced builder like you can take a look at my build and appreciate my work. @Chancey21 is always reminding me that my wing loading needs to be greater haha. I know he’s right, but also I kinda like that floating effect, even though it’s not realistic. Anyway, my next build is a motorfloater so my unrealistically low wing loading will finally be realistic! Haha. Anyway, thank you very much, I really really appreciate your comments :) I will keep doing my best! @Sarpanitu

  • Maxair Hummer 150 6.3 years ago

Yeah. I had it dialed in pretty good I thought, then I decided it was too slow, so I added power, and now I think I shoulda left it the way it was haha. Oh well. You’re right it’s pretty tricky trying to get the speeds right. @Mustang51

  • Vickers Type 161 6.3 years ago

Ok, thanks for the feedback. I think I will post an update later. Hey, would you do me a favor and take another look at the suspension? I think the geometry is off, cause the spring strength is only 10% and it’s still too stiff, like you said. Only I don’t know how to fix it... @Chancey21

  • Vickers Type 161 6.3 years ago

Haha I know it’s weird but that’s how the real plane was made. And yeah, I forgot to disable collisions on the prop. Oops... I might post an update with that and some other changes. Anyway thanks! :) @GenericWhiteGuy

  • Blurry Eyes (update) 6.3 years ago

Yes! Thank you! I’m glad someone appreciates that about this build! I mean, it’s still faster than the real thing, but at least it gives the right feel. The original bleriot XI had a top speed of 47mph. Which would have made this thing kind of a bummer to fly I think... so I made it a bit faster, but not too much. Anyway, thank you! And that’s awesome about the wright flyer simulator! @ChiChiWerx

  • Blurry Eyes (update) 6.3 years ago

Yessir! Well... it’s based on the bleriot but it’s not terribly accurate, so I called it something else. @WarHawk95

  • Quadruple-Fan Suction Excavator 6.3 years ago

This is a really impressive build. It looks fantastic. It’s pretty difficult to operate, although I’m sure that’s true of the real thing. It makes me wish there were SP physics that allowed for suction excavating!

Super awesome, man, I love it. Handles better, looks better, I love that hyperdrive engine and exhaust, that looks fantastic. Also the lettering on T 20 is really nice, looks perfect! And like before, the retractable custom landing gear is my favorite part. It is just sooo good. And it’s even better now! Really great job man, I love it!

Oops, I’m sorry man! I read your message, then deleted the post because I reposted. But then I deleted that post too and reposted again, and forgot to respond again so you’d have a chance to see it haha. To answer your question; yes, it is based on a real aircraft, though I didn’t find that much information about it. If you google image search “quicksilver sprint”, most of the images you’ll see will be a trike version, but you should see one or two photos of a plane that looks like this, on floaters. @Mustang51
