Well, there is one good thing about this... You can actually see who joined the game first. Andrew, do you think you could keep that as sort of search option with users(it would be nice :D )?
Hmm... I think this may be my reason to make a new P-80/F-80 (depending on which designation you want, IDC) Shooting Star. I will probably make a version not for the challenge with some changes(mostly engine power, because I'm predicting that 2 J50's isn't going to be great for it, P:W ratio wise.)
@MrNinja Fixed means it doesn't adjust. Percentage of pitch doesn't matter because that's how much it will rotate, not what the fixed angle of it is. Pitch range scale is basically how far it will pitch... 100% is basically 90 degrees rotation in each direction from what I understand. Pitch setting is the resting angle of the prop itself when no inputs are applied
@Flightsonic Actually, it had nothing to do with that. It can do that, but it behaves itself most of the time. But the game can be buggy with it's drag, and it's not just the old fuselage blocks. All the blocks in the game exhibit that property, including the adjustable fuselage block and nose cone, and is very prominent in inlets, from my experience.
@0 ... Nice try, but no. You will never get respect if you continue to troll as you do. If you had learned this, you wouldn't be where you are right now. Nobody likes a troll... And I mean nobody. Jealously is ok, but being a troll because of it is not nice, fair, or logical. If you actually wanted to beat him, you should have beat him at the points game, not try to demoralize him intentionally and make him leave. You have lost most of your respect because of that. If you actually were fair, who knows? You may have become gold by now. If there is one thing that building games to not like, it's trolls like you, and people who vandalize places on the internet so nobody can use them. But guess what? You have almost no friends except other trolls, and only command heaps that have almost nobody in it except trolls like you... You don't command an empire, you don't command the game, you can't even command your few followers without forcing them. Your a terrible troll, and have done nothing productive in this community. If you wanted to just troll, go to some other place... Not here. Your not welcome here, and your not going to be welcome for as long as you remain a troll. Maybe when you change your ways, then you could return... But until then, so long, good bye, and.... Well, almost nobody will miss you, to say the least.
Actually, at first, I hated the fuselage block because of how inflexible they were with the attachment points. It's hard to work with an even-number block area with them BECAUSE of how the attachment points are designed, and makes conversion to the fuselage block on many of the older aircraft impossible. Of course, I do still dislike them for not having enough flexibility for my taste(it only allows a pretty limited number of different shape types, 1/3's, 1/2's, circles, and obviously various squares, and you don't get much better even using multiple pieces.), but I've come to an understanding on that, a little bit, anyway. Nudging has made placing them a lot easier as well. I've made many different aircraft with it, but it just wasn't like the old normal blocks... It also removed many forms of part clipping I loved to use, which is really a pain, and why I will still use them in a pinch(not so much anymore, as I now have XML editing access with the files). I'm hoping 1.4 brings some new blocks that will help ease that a little bit.
Well, looks like you beat me to it. Congrats, hope it works out, and I need to get back to work on the CFA-44, so... Yeah. Also don't have unity up and running, so I couldn't make it even if I wanted to.
I usually go quality over quantity. You can only make so many planes, and I find it better to put development into my aircraft, make them as good as I can. It's just a thing I do. But it's also because the power of numbers does not work in simple planes. The 5 plane limit makes it hard to make enough planes to get noticed, and also because a quality work is more likely to stand out among the big crowd that is the SP community. I often put a lot of time in my builds, often because of trouble shooting the performance(I prefer performance over looks most of the time, though SP makes it easier to make good looking aircraft)
It's why I don't build on my iPad(normally it would be impossible to XML mod with it, but I JB'ed it, so it's more or less like a andriod device) often, XD. Though, to be fair, I did deal with XML stuff with it, but now that I'll soon have a computer which has free access to those files, the iPad is mostly just there to test fly them for mobile.
Actually, macbooks pretty much stand right next to the PC's in terms of that, so... Yeah. Though, #PCMASTERRACE is true. Windows is generally better when it comes to gaming than a macbook.
And yeah, android can do the same things as PC, but a PC just makes it easier and more painless(well, computers in general, not just windows)
@SimpleName11 lol, nice joke there, buddy, but we all know you don't have one(actually, they don't even have a physical interface if they do exist IRL)
@TheLatentImage Nice! It would really be nice to have a collaboration feature, especially since some large projects would need to be undertaken by multiple people. I do approve. Also would like to do collab projects, but it just seems... a nuisance ATM. Many people won't help with a small collaborative project, and that's even for simple XML'ing(just my personal experience from several months ago)
@Sofa Technically, if it was a single hit box, they would simply vanish if they hit anything hard enough... And that's even at low speeds. Like I said, hardly realistic.
@Sofa Technically, mesh is soft-body deformation, but the mesh doesn't need to be soft. And as for making it a single hitbox... That's not easy, and in all fairness, would reduce the realisticness of the game. Do you want enemy aircraft vaporizing instantly from even a tiny collision? Thought so.
@ACMECo1940 over a year ago at this point.... If you mean the modern upvote system, that was a fairly recent development a few months ago.
... Oh wow.
@ShatteredAviation That is not from before 1.3, it's actually from before 1.2, where adjustable fuselage blocks were added!
@Flightsonic I mean I forgot to actually put it in.
@Flightsonic forgot about that, lol.
@Warbrine https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/vi9AXm/CFA-44
@General360 I figured the title would be click bait, but then again, it was supposed to be :P . Added the description, BTW.
@Warbrine Oh, trust me, I have a plan...
Ok, TBH, not that great, but hey, I don't expect it to be great.
Hmm.... I have an idea for an april fools...
@jdulmer I wasn't. Couldn't care less. But the april fools joke is so obvious...
@HKAerodynamics It's not over yet... Jelly has 100K points.
@General360 For a april fools joke last year, they released a game called simple wheels.
@DeezDucks Yep. Hope I can fly it soon.
@Manboy At least when you look in the user's section, anyway. Otherwise, it is true, there is no order, XD
@Manboy Actually, there is an order. Oldest user to newest user.
Well, there is one good thing about this... You can actually see who joined the game first. Andrew, do you think you could keep that as sort of search option with users(it would be nice :D )?
Here's a question- any new joke game for this april fools? I was looking forward to it, but this is also pretty good, you sneaky b@$t@rd.
Hmm... I think this may be my reason to make a new P-80/F-80 (depending on which designation you want, IDC) Shooting Star. I will probably make a version not for the challenge with some changes(mostly engine power, because I'm predicting that 2 J50's isn't going to be great for it, P:W ratio wise.)
so there's where I got the mere one point from successors, lol.
@Typhlosion130 read the rules!
XML modded engines and fuel tanks are NOT allowed.
Did it say anything else on the subject? No.
@Typhlosion130 It says it in the rules on top.
@Typhlosion130 no XML modded engines and fuel tanks, specifically.
@Thefalloutplayr low physics settings? I'm sure you'd need it at high.
@General360 Well, T3000's look closer to the actual design, TBH
@MrNinja Fixed means it doesn't adjust. Percentage of pitch doesn't matter because that's how much it will rotate, not what the fixed angle of it is. ...
@AgDynamics OWV is back, with a vengeance(the trench is ahead of OWV...)!
@MrMecha We will soon find out. Apparently there is a beta (possibly)next week if you read the subreddit comments.
It says no jet engines allowed @SimpleKingdomAerialTesting
VTOL engines are jet engines, so no, they are not allowed. Only the T1000, T2000, and T3000 are allowed
Looks nice. Will fly it when I get home.
... Looks like it's time for a new prop aircraft.
(added for effect)
Challenge Accepted!
Was on the bottom of the 7th page... now on top of 8th. Really need to get the CFA-44 designed and posted...

@Phantion Asymmetrical drag?

On supply raid... If anything, yo'du build a ship in an attempt to destroy them. That would be a good idea with it's physics, though.
@Halfstrike lol
I'll try it tommorow afternoon.
