Unlike some other people who focused on the negatives without giving much praise for the positives, I would like to do just that. Remember, I respect their opinions, but I think they forgot to give credit where it is due.
I don't usually download others' planes cause I don't really care about them (I know that sounds kinda selfish and dicky...) but this one caught my attention.
Something that stood out to me at first sight was the style of this plane. It seems simplistic which, at least these days, would seem like a low-effort performance. I myself like it; sleek, clean, beautiful.
Something else that I like is the way you built the wings. I haven't seen this before.
However, this plane would've been twenty times better if it wasn't that responsive. Granted I tested it on my phone which lags like hell, but the controls still felt too powerful. This is probably what made it hard to land for others.
Another thing is that it yaws to the left while taking off; can't confirm if the same happens while landing.
I would like to mention one more time that I respect all others' opinions, but once again: every negative should be balanced by a positive; in essence, the zero sum rule.
If these players annoy you so hard, then switch to Maywar or somewhere else. I mean, cmon, it's not as bad as you think.
The map has quite a few places (albeit not as large or easily accessible as Yeager or Wright) that are very rarely frequented by other players.
If that doesn't fix your problem, then switch to singleplayer. Simple as that. Until HFK does something about it (which I think he currently can't; he's a game developer), this is your only choice.
Just quit whining. It's what multiplayer games are like.
Your phone would burn your hand and in the process create a second Sun, thus making our solar system a binary one.
Except this Sun has an unpredictable lifespan, usually in the minutes until you punch that mothafricka who brought a 92047293 part plane and close the server.
You've actually built a Type 79. The gun is a 105 mm (most likely a copy of the renowned L7), whereas the Type 59 uses a 100 mm D-10.
Looks pretty nice though. I'll have to test it later.
This was actually the original paint I had in mind when making it. Then the community said it liked the normal camo one more... which was kinda sad tbh :/
Looks good but... I don't know... it just lacks refinement, the finesse of a finished product. What really puts me off is that turret shape.
Haven't tested it yet, so I can't talk right now about its performance.
@DuckMint caves (and pretty much any form of terrain similar to that) requires special meshes that can't be made through the built-in terrain mesh.
This is how the devs made the Ice Base. It's just a mesh made in Blender probably. Nothing terrain-related at all. There might be plugins for this, though. Haven't worked with Unity for about half a year or so.
Btw, just out of curiosity: are you going to make a huge map? I'm thinking of something like War Thunder, where you can fly planes and also take land vehicles to roam the map.
I think it's a mixed bag when it comes to part count. I would like to remain neutral on this matter.
To be perfectly honest, however, up until 800-900 parts, it's okay. From there on, lag starts to creep in and it becomes unpleasant to run the game. At least this is my experience.
@goboygo1 Well, it's a bit harder to explain...
I'll try these days just before school starts to judge it. I think most of the entries are judged already. Since I don't have Excel, it'll basically be good ol' paper & pencil combo.
I'm sorry it takes this long. I just kept delaying it.
Is this the usual quality your release your builds with? It has quite a few sharp edges and the tracks aren't smooth enough. Also, the rocket can only be fired at max elevation while it's pointed to the side.
It seems like a rushed build, to be honest. Maybe consider building an actual E-100 sometime later? I myself would like to see a tank from you :)
If I had Unity installed right now, I could maybe get back to making designer backgrounds.
Basically, you have to add a Designer Plugin thingy from the SimplePlanes tab and then add all your stuff under that.
From there on, it's similar to how you create maps, except this time you don't add spawnpoints.
Also, more as a nice feature, be sure to make your background very flexible! That means, you offer the player multiple positions for screenshots.
One last note (I promise this is the last :) ): skyboxes set via the Unity engine do not work. There is a script to get around that but, unfortunately, I lost it. I'll have to ask the creator (aka mushr0om - thank God for him) to reupload it.
But now, seriously, I'd like them to add tank parts. Turret rings, tracks, cannons and such. Along with, maybe, smoke dispensers and targeting tools. Periscopes. The list could go on.
As for any kind of multiplayer: the devs have already told you it's nearly impossible due to the game itself. Even if they do manage to implement a fully working and stable networking solution, there still is the other problem: optimization. On phones, especially, it's gonna lag like hell and turn into a PowerPoint presentation, basically. Do you like that?
The tracks... uh...
I don't wanna be mean but, please, redo them. The roller wheels go through the track and it looks awful. Really awful.
Other than that, it looks okay. You're just a beginner though, so I don't wanna seem too harsh on you.
I think the best tracks you can build are like this. It is the most part-efficient and functional in my opinion. @Minecraftpower did provide another track model (which isn't that new), however, it uses a lot more parts and this, in return, increases lag.
I am planning to use the same model on my current light tank project, but the problem is, I don't have the motivation to finish it. And in the last month, I've started at least 3 other projects and, thus far, finished neither of them.
Anyway, that was my two cents on the matter. Hope I helped with it :)
Can't really test it now but I heard from some friends it's quite a good plane.
Quite surprising it only now got noticed.
Have an upvote and a spotlight from me :)

+1I think it's about time I should build an E-100.
It's been quite some time since the last major incident we've had here...
Is this our very own postwar period?

+1@WNP78 that rock which the base is built in is the only thing made custom.

I remember once taking a funny screenshot with my T-72 with another guy but I can't find him anywhere :/
Anyways, nice screenshots.

Why don't you use a different background? It would make the screenshots much more fitting.

Comversion to 4D. To keep the tradition from SR to SR2: upgrade to the next dimension
