@RavenG59 I may not know how to make mods, but me and @vcharng know a lot about radars because we had to build our own radars for WWII aircrafts, (our aicrafts actually share the same FuG 240 radar, with mine getting an additional Fug 350).
if you want info or useful links, feel free to ping me! :3
really useful info, this explains why my automated airbrakes didn't get overrid by manual control because the manual control was on the second bracket...
@Kennneth I know that for today's standards, it is highly outpaced... but this 3rd gen I7 is on par or better than a 2nd gen desktop I7... take into account I've been running this laptop since 2015 or earlier. and desktop I7's LGA15xx didn't get an upgrade in core count until 6-7nth gen. It is nontheless a 4C/8T CPU running at 3.2Ghz nonstop
@AtlasMilitaryIndustries managed to beat it using the terrain, used flares to get behind the mountain, then appeared on the other side of the mountain, aquired lock and got the kill with a single AIM9J Sidewinder.
this aircraft is giving me a serious headache, even if my aicraft are capable of dodging the first salvo of missiles, such a spam of missiles ends up killing my aircraft... will have to go out of my conventional ways to beat it.
maybe one day, tho flight school is very expensive, wether it's the air force or civilian pilot. I know for sure that if I want something, I can do it, but money is the problem...
I read somewhere on youtube that you can take a trial flight in your local airport if it's allowed, so an instructor teaches you in flight and stuff.
regarding high part creations... I like to push the limits of my creativity, and my pc's limits. Sure, SP is incredibly un-optimized for the resources it uses, it barely uses 30% of CPU power out of a 3rd gen I7 and barely uses more than 2GB of VRAM, but somehow, it is very CPU intensive, it likes high core count over frequency. a lot of high part count tings come from detailed parts like speedometers or things like decals, since we don't have a paintob feature or importing a .png so we can save parts. sometimes I have to duplicate the parts of an entire plane ust to have it in a two-tone paintscheme, imagine the part saving with just some .png images thrown here and there.
From my point of view, SP needs to solve the spaghetti of code before upgrading, I used to play KSP with at least 20 mods and that was way more demanding but optimized than SP, yet, SP is such a spaghetti of code that it doesn't use the given resources apropiately, I wrote a post about it in my bio. Unity has it's limits, it's an engine for small games, not for an overcomplex amount of stuff. if it were a newer game, maybe keep the same layout, but transfer it to a more powerful engine like Unreal engine or Havok, where we can go nuts about building and crashing stuff.
For point 1) SP is far from perfected, we still need more sliders and activation groups because there's simply not enough to make all the functions without a very clunky working mechanism. Modders have created such incredible maps, that I wish they were the default maps, visual effects and even parts completely from scratch, those things should have been by default in the game! take into account SP is no longer about aircrafts, it's aircrafts, ground vehicles, naval vessels and even spaceships.
Also, Android is a market now, and the game has to accomodate to both worlds, and difference between monster pc's and a RoG phone, there's still a gigantic gap in performance. they're completely different operating systems, one based on Linux an the other on Windows or IOs. you can't compare an android 2.2Ghz octacore vs an entry level 3.4Ghz quad core with hyperthreading, and not even joke about the ultra high gamma 4.5Ghz 12C / 24 threads that the new ryzen has. Graphics is even more of a joke.
build... maybe a week or two + an entire week of testing. +1000 can take me an entire year if it's historical stuff, because it's extremely hard to find certain blueprints or info whatsoever.
Yay, another FACH plane! :3 may I challenge you to shoot down my M.A Red arrow? I designed it to compete with the chilean F-5 tiger II, I'll tag you in it.
@edensk exactly. Also, small update, I think the lag come from Cache memory and the BUS speed itself, because the game starts to lag after 2 hours of continuous gameplay, no matter if it's a 50 part build or a 1400 part build. Very noticeable when using overload, it can take several seconds to load a simple menu. For low part count build, just restart the game and problem solved for some hours, but on larger builds, there's no fix...
that's kinda strange, I used a triple controller setup on both WT and SP when my flight stick still worked, could use the controllers at the same time without issue (back in 2017). setup was steering wheel + flght stick + random PS2 gamepad for extra functions.
well made Focke wulf, I should have readed the Full Trim on take off, but whatever, it flies well. also umm...I'll steal your gyrosight code,it fixed the pitching problem that mine had xd. I will probably stael a few more codes for components that I can't replicate properly.
pretty deadly tank, I can notice that the muzzle velocity has improved a lot in comparison with the first versions of the RH128mm, which plays a good factor in combat. I like the design btw, it's rare to see back-turreted tanks nowadays.
@QuitePossiblyMangled thank you! Also, I encourage you to participate, if you notice, I'm way over the part limit, so I don't think I'll win by any chance xd. Do your best!

@Airsupremacy01
my deep apologies for the late entry, busy with work and other stuff. I wanted that you could see what it was about at least. n.n
@AviationHJM thank you very much! I hope you can give plenty of use to this replica gyrosight!

@Airsupremacy01 was thinkg on doing it based on weapon groups, tho I need to remake the code, as the previous one didn't behave as I wanted...
manual transmission allowed... time to get creative with FT hehehe
@Fox00One thank you for the upvote! I hope you enjoy the aircraft!
last year December, but purely because of delivery work, otherwise... can't even recall the last time, but probs 2019
@UsualPiooneer yo, a TMP fan!
+1T, specifically looking for either an M103 or M104. M104 is extremely similar to the 2jz, but carries timing chain instead of timing belt.
+1@TheCommentReader they are slow to take off, mainly because of the poor stall speed and because of the engines.
it looks really cool, I'm hyped to fly it in-game
