I really think you should build a MiG-21. It would look great with your technique, and I'd really love to fly a good looking and well-performing pencil.
No problem. Nearly three times the part count that I could run, but it looks amazing. Maybe add some pictures of it in use to description, as most people can't actually play with it.
This would have been a good build if it worked. Left aileron is inverted, flaps and rudder are stuck, and plane banks to the left while floating. Please post a fix.
First impressions (20min of testing):
Colors look more vibrant (which is good. Also, maybe it has to do with me being a bit tired). Also, builds with which I used to get 2fps (two of my large ships) now run at 6-7fps (major improvement). However, camera zoom seems to have become extremely sensitive in game (not in editor). I am also getting a glitch when I load the game. The terrain is not there for the frame or two. Mod Smooth Designer seems to be broken (I'm seeing the background color, but not the bubbles), and I'm missing the button for Fine Tuner mod, which I will further investigate tomorrow (it might have simply gotten turned off).
Great looks, but performance could be much, much better. You have the wrong part of the tail moving. Elevators are stuck, and stabilizers are moving up and down. Also, acceleration is extreme. I suggest reducing drag via Overload mod to around 2000 drag points and then adjusting engine power to get realistic max speed.
I've removed the N word from description. I personally don't consider it particularly offensive, but there are some very sensitive snowflakes in the community.
That's a nice idea. However, it's not really a priority to the devs, I believe. Also, it would greatly increase the risk of accidentally removing wrong build.
My game crashes when I try to use this mod (four times in a row, with a build that my PC runs smoothly). It usually crashes some three seconds after I open the upload menu, as soon as it loads screenshots as thumbnails.
@DrunkenRaider a build like this quickly gets recognised and reported if it's a copy. It's nice of you to help less experienced members improve their skills. Keep up the good work.
@BogdanX rules of this website state: "If you are continually telling people their airplanes suck, then maybe you suck." and "Please, just be courteous.".
Ok, now "SP isn't dying" posts are getting spammy. I'm pretty sure we've all seen them before, we've understood that SP isn't dying, and we don't need more of these. It won't increase your popularity, it won't make anyone's day, and it's not really contributing to the community. I understand that you just want to give your two cents, but you can do it on one one of the existing posts with the same title, and to the same effect.
We've had worse upvote dry seasons caused by bad weather. So what if a few users are leaving? We still have plenty. There's also plenty of us still building for fun. I've had literally all ranks I can get without working for Jundroo including a rare and hard to get Mod rank, and I'm still going.
Have you considered deleting old unlisted posts? Upload limit is actually a limit of how many builds you can have uploaded in a 24h period. If you delete some, it makes room for new ones.
MiGs are cheap propaganda planes?! Don't make me laugh. From the shock MiG-21 caused in Vietnam to MiG-29/35 (best frontline/light fighter currently in service), MiGs have proven to be exceptional aircraft. Try to match them to their western counterparts. MiG-29 vs F-16, for example. MiG-29 is faster, more maneuverable, can carry more, has IRST, and in newer versions has electronics roughly equal to F-16. When both planes were tested with equally experienced crews MiG has shown a significant advantage. What bugs MiGs in conflict is the fact that MiG pilots from poor countries with just 40-50h of flight a year are going against USAF and USN pilots with 200-400h of flight per year. And the fact that US can bring more aircraft and overwhelm defenders enough to make them ineffective. One such case happened in Serbia in 1999. Two of our MiG-29s took off to intercept a threat. They were soon attacked by around forty NATO fighters using long range missiles and were destroyed.
Grammar, buddy, grammar. The word you are looking for is "you're". Also, "soccer" is actual football. American football is a derivative of rugby, which itself is a derivative of actual football.
Surprisingly low part count for an airliner. They usually have more than thousand of parts. Landing gear is a bit stiff, and the plane seems to be a bit underpowered, but it's still very nice.
This build would have scored better if there wasn't TSAD tag on it. People have grew to expect a certain level of quality (read "very high level of quality") from TSAD, and this simply doesn't do it. You need custom control surfaces, and you need to clean up the area around the cockpit. I know you can do it.
@FastDan they can click on something else. Also, they are exposed to this in modern cartoons. Sorry, group that claims this is against the rules has already been proven wrong by the owner of this site, the guy who makes the rules. You are new user, and I bet you don't want to stain your future reputation by continuing this argument. You have a chance to be one of the nice guys, which is always a good thing.
@diegoavion84 you have accidentally reported a legitimate build from two accounts? Yeah, right. And then came to this post, wondering why it's gone. Sorry m8, our moderators don't miss things like that. Better luck next time.
Eh, you are apologising because you didn't play a game too much, and have been doing something actually useful? Please explain the concept, I don't understand.
You are not chained to this site. You can leave whenever you want, and you don't need to explain yourself. Not even I, with 600+ followers, notify anyone when I'm on a break.
Amazing build. I love how you did the envelope, even though that would be more fitting for a fully rigid airship. Performance are great, with fairly natural acceleration and turning radius tight enough to be fun but not tight enough to be arcade-like. I guess that part count was the limiting factor for the interior.
I really enjoyed flying this thing and will add it to favorites for future use.
If you're looking for suggestions, I'd like to see you build one of the WW1 Zeppelins.
@LJh1 @Graingy trouble is that you guys don't know what to look for. A build that has had effort invested into it will have effort invested into description as well. There will also be some imperfections typical of inexperienced builders. It's difficult to explain, but when you have been here for as long as I have, you can see a copy from a mile away 9/10 times.
Oh, and I also follow most of the builders whose builds usually get copied by noobs, so I tend to get a familiar feeling when I see a copy.
You should probably write a description and put a few pictures into it. Many people cannot download a build with this many parts. If your English isn't good enough, maybe ask a friend to do it.
Otherwise, beautiful ship. Very well done.
Why not cash prize for the mods that get implemented into the game? You have to motivate people to commit themselves to developing things. The two aren't mutually exclusive.
At any rate, that's for Andrew to decide once he sobers up.
(I guess that's behind this sudden teaser comment and his temp ban)
You're insane mate.
Amazing build. It was a pleasure watching it progress, and the end result is something I would really enjoy if my PC were ten times more powerful.
I have a little suggestion. Since we can (and often do) use camera movement for aiming turreted weapons, camera should have the option to retain the stock reticle when moved. That would save us some effort of making a custom reticle for the more exotic system, like the first person camera orbiting the build on a hidden rig to aim all of the weapons.
The rest of the stuff I have tried out is great, though a warning perhaps should be added that first person camera zoom doesn't work with the old zoom mod active.
Given the limitations of your device, this is an excellent build. Proportion is good, everything is in its place, it really feels right. Bow technique is a bit outdated, but it's not a big problem for this build.
Woah...
Reload system for missiles is especially impressive. I can't download the build, but I think I know how it works. The rest of the build is just as beautiful.
@snekpilot it took as much time to optimize the part count as it did to build the thing. I'm very proud of it. I hope you'll also try it out in the game if your device allows it. I have worked a lot on the flight model too.
I really think you should build a MiG-21. It would look great with your technique, and I'd really love to fly a good looking and well-performing pencil.

+5@JamesBleriot this is the official account of Jundroo, where they post all stock aircraft.
+5This would have been a good build if it worked. Left aileron is inverted, flaps and rudder are stuck, and plane banks to the left while floating. Please post a fix.
+5@BoganBoganTheMan sorry, I've deleted the version you upvoted. I accidentally posted twice.

+5With spotlights, featuring planes is an obsolete function.

+5I suggest trying something I failed at: design a biplane for the 21st century. A successor to the great An-2 that is not a hideous An-3.
+5My game crashes when I try to use this mod (four times in a row, with a build that my PC runs smoothly). It usually crashes some three seconds after I open the upload menu, as soon as it loads screenshots as thumbnails.
+5Get a life. Or don't. I like mods.
+5It's not really a problem. Just one little mistake, and it was obvious you didn't know it's wrong. I hope you have read the rules since.
+5@DrunkenRaider a build like this quickly gets recognised and reported if it's a copy. It's nice of you to help less experienced members improve their skills. Keep up the good work.
+5Very nice work. It is not every day that I see a bronze level user utilising custom control surfaces and activation group inputs.
+5@BogdanX rules of this website state: "If you are continually telling people their airplanes suck, then maybe you suck." and "Please, just be courteous.".
+5I'd leave the texture smooth so it fits with builds. Pattern will stand out from paint jobs. I think we'll see quite a few nice builds with these.
+5First reaction: "Is that flying aluminium ladder?
+5reads description "lol, it is flying aluminium ladder :)"

+5It is mostly good. However, I think you should either go with full cockpit or solid canopy. Still, it's a very nice build. Good job.
+5Have you considered deleting old unlisted posts? Upload limit is actually a limit of how many builds you can have uploaded in a 24h period. If you delete some, it makes room for new ones.
