due date?
also your rules are very off
you're basically saying i can make an f-86 that can't be supersonic in a dive because it didn't have a/b
i also would like to know whether replicas are possible because you need either x6 .50s or x4 20s which the mig-15 and other russian fighters never qualified for
@RepublicOfCursedPlanes
i'd argue the quality has decreased, 7 years ago we had nothing to work with, which is how paneling became a thing.
there was much more creativity, most builds actually had a somewhat okay flight model. now most builds drop like a brick or do 20 loops in a second
Perfectly fine
Id make another version without all the startups though.
My reasoning for this is that there’s still a large group of people who play for looks not for the game they literally paid for.
My only concern with builds like this is performance cost, it’s pretty hard to run this stuff on a mobile phone, which is a large percentile of the community.
@Sm10684 the only thing I’ve noticed is that the community is massive right now
Like there’s so many people here
Only thing that has decreased is the quality of builds
Most flight models nowadays are disregarded entirely, there’s exceptions of course but for most cases there’s been a decline in quality and an increase of quantity.
I’ve spent like a year getting better because of it lol and I’ve got a few projects waiting.
i feel like this would be easy to do. just get the centre of mass / lift for each of the parts and combine it all into a single calculation - of course this wouldn't work for things like cockpit but this would absolutely open the realm of camouflage
but it could be hard as well given sp is pretty old
@HuskyDynamics01 agreed
i think if we revamp engines, do what they did with the legacy parts. keep em in the files to make sure that old builds aren't killed, but make newer and better parts out of it
@OUGHTO yes it is, but there's no detail or anything under it...
you didn't even slice underneath it, so it kind of appears like its not really done right.
again it's a great build, but it's got some stuff that you can improve on
@HololiveFan it’s German, used in the time of the nazi party so it’s kind of accurate if it was real.
Of course this is fiction though so I’m not sure why you’d even bother including it but to each their own.
@Default4 no way bro
uses a gyro to fly
doesn't have custom wings.
and the main intakes aren't even existent
it's a good build but there's still some flaws. and yes boggie's is old but it holds up darn well
like why do we have the point limit stuff for features, like just feature a craft thats really good it shouldn't matter if they're BogdanX or not - it should be based on whether they've had a featured build or not
@asteroidbook345 @IceCraftGaming
They're radiators placed in an area where they're unaffected by prop turbulence, making them quite efficient, german engines were really good at overheating off memory so these radiators would have been very helpful.
@IMFLYINHERE
You’ve completely misunderstood my catchphrase lol.
Win the war not the battle means that you need to focus on the bigger picture. This stupid internet argument isn’t gonna make you the CEO of Lockheed Martin or whatever.
Gonna be honest
SR2 is good
But it feels complex to me. UI feels cluttered unlike SP which was well, simple to get by with
I honestly reckon they’re gonna make SP2 - VR is clearly doing numbers though so I’m probably wrong.
due date?

I mean it’s because high point users aren’t making challenges much anymore
+2Plus the quality of builds has declined a lot, which is probably why.
Perfectly fine

They should also do the edge curve slider thing that SR2 has so that you’re not just stuck w the 4 edges we have rn.

+2@Bo1233 correct
+2uh do me they'd be very confused
+2e🅱ik honker is bacc!!!!!!!!!
+2@AntonWings Yeah I'll explain for you :)
+2Often on western aircraft in WW2 you would see large black squares over engines / fuselages, this was to stop potential reflection blinding a pilot in a critical situation.
On the P-38 the locations of anti-glare panels were around the nose, and insides of either engine.
You should get discord by the way, I would love to spend more time helping :)
