Get a fast plane with air-to-ground missiles to shoot down the two AA missile turtets (and fire the missiles really late because if they're in the air for too long the lasers will blow them up), then you just need to fly through the gap onto the runway
@DarkLithium with some mobile devices able to run multiple AI planes at once it don't think it's unrealistic for two planes to be in a multiplayer together on mobile. If they actually add it at least, because I've noticed them taking to saying "that'll take longer than multiplayer" when someone requests something massive that would take forever. I don't see that as promising for the addition of multiplayer
@InspectorGaben yes, but the devs are overworked as it is. I wouldn't want them to spend their time developing a graphical inprovement that only a portion of the users would actually use
@Themarmarcar like the rear landing gear being the same way on both sides? Just mirror the one and it will be the opposite on the other side to make it symmetrical
@Supercraft888 iPhone 5s. On medium settings it's just on the edge of unplayable and on low it's mostly alright. Also snow stone island is about 340 degrees from Yeager airport. Go on that heading and you should fly right to it
I've spawned 4 AI planes with about 80 parts each and flew a plane with a few hundred and saw lower framerate but it was still playable. Although I didn't find any of the planes I spawned
I've found one minor bug in the editor. If you're using the cursor and select an engine to power a wheel, after you've selected it the cursor is still there but you can move parts around with your finger just like if you weren't using the cursor. Pressing the cursor button in the bottom right twice fixes this. I'm on iOS btw
1.2 for sure. Fuselage blocks were game changing by themselves but with the second island, weather and a day/night cycle, and the teasers for that update coming out really early, it was painful to have to wait for on mobile
How many parts is it? If you upload a mobile version newer phones should be able to run that (mobile version is just uploading with the cockpit detached so it shows up as only 1 part)
I really like 2,3,4 and 7. They all would make the game so much more interesting and give everyone access to most of the stuff only people who edit XML can do now. 1 however would probably be more of a scary "don't push the red button" kind of option, because a lot of subs that I have I've put a lot of time into and I'm not up for remaking all of them because I accidentally pushed a button. I don't think 8 would be good, because it would make the game really complex and making decals out of fuse blocks is an art in it of itself. 6 seems a little too cosmetic to be bothered with, when the devs are overflowing with new stuff they're trying to add to the game, and 5 wouldn't do much when most people have subs with modded engines or at least know where to find them. Overall pretty great ideas though!
If it's twitching and doing a kind of glitchy fishtale then making the wings smaller or adding weight should help that, increasing the wing loading allows for a higher top speed before glitching out usually
This is so fun to fly! It not only looks amazing but it actually has the flights characteristics of a real life plane. There aren't many of those on sp
@Umbreon as long as there would still be the sandbox mode the people who don't like career style gameplay would likely just ignore it. And it would be a good opportunity for new players to have fun while they actually learn how to play the game. because if you tubers are any example, people don't read the tutorial and have no idea how to play the game
@Waemoth yeah, one resizable gun would be much easier to use and follow the trend that other new parts like wheels and fuselage blocks have set where they have many options to change them. And seeing what a hard time the wheel physics are giving the devs I doubt tracks are going to be a thing, especially when people can already make them
@Himynameiswalrus the way the last mobile betas have gone, you get an email and if you're on iOS you need to download test flight from the App Store and the beta will appear there when it is released
@Thefalloutplayr I kind of like that they're gone. I never looked At them and depending on what the time was it would take up 3 lines to display on mobile and make the page really long
It's been working alright if I refresh the page before doing anything that will access my account when returning to an old tab, but I've found a problem where on an old tab if you try to comment/upvote/veiw notifications or anything else that requires being logged in without loading any new page, it will require you logging in again
@TheCaptain594 if you're on iOS, download test flight and on the 29th when the beta testing is scheduled to start, it will show up there for you to download
@Griffith if you're on iOS, you will need to download test flight from the App Store. The beta will appear in there and the app icon will have a yellow dot next to the name
@DatsunVehiclesCompany yes, in the 1.4 version. I believe it's out for all platforms now. But maywar is not in the mobile version, just snowstone
It's not near the tiny. Go on about a 330 heading from the volcano and you'll see it

Works fine for me
@Warbrine go to the App Store and download simple planes without quitting the beta, and all progress will be transferred over
Yeah, my phone has trouble with the suspension on low and it lags on anything else, still really cool tho :)
@laserborn88 lol it's already out
@InspectorGaben yes, but the devs are overworked as it is. I wouldn't want them to spend their time developing a graphical inprovement that only a portion of the users would actually use
Because, on mobile and on powered computers it would make tons of lag
@Themarmarcar like the rear landing gear being the same way on both sides? Just mirror the one and it will be the opposite on the other side to make it symmetrical
Great job on the fuselage shape!
I've seen an old boat with like a 3 layer railing that was nearly 3k parts

With scalable parts, you can change the size of the boom 25 and 50s to essentially be other bomb sizes
I've heard the 14th, and look at the mobile beta forum post to see what's going to be added
@InterStellarENT if he's on iOS, which it sounds like he is, he missed the signup window for the beta and has to wait for the full release
Snowstone is 310-330 degrees from the volcano. Go on that heading from either bandit or Yeager airport and you should see it

Ducktones of wings, low drag and an old prop worked for me
@SimpleFlow if you're on iOS, no. You'll have to wait until the full release
Does anyone know where the snowy island is? I've been looking for a bit and can't find it
@SimpleFlow if you signed up an email was sent out with a link to open the simple planes beta in test flight
Not gonna lie, I dropped all bombs before remembering to open the bomb bay doors then just did carpet bomb runs for nearly half an hour
@kikasshes been wanting that since 1.1

Yeah, missile powered SRB's are already a thing
How do you bind the volume buttons to actions? Whenever I click on them it just says "..." Idk if this works for me tho bc I'm on ios
@KnightOfAraluen short clips or gifs as preview photos would probably slow down the site too much, but I'm all for in game thumbnails!

Omg gives me all the feels

Make things you're proud of. If you make and upload a plane with the intent of merely getting upvotes, it generally won't be as good.

I was laughing for about ten minutes strait the first time I saw this. It was nicknamed the "Caspian Sea monster" by NATO, and for good reason.
@TheFlyingBomber mobile beta comes out 29th. This update is for the steam beta
@KkLManufacturing change the throttle type to normal, not analog slider or anything
@KkLManufacturing Ye configure controls can mess up things. Go to the configure controls option and restore them to default and that should work
@Thefalloutplayr I kind of like that they're gone. I never looked At them and depending on what the time was it would take up 3 lines to display on mobile and make the page really long

I haven't had to log in once since you changed it, it's working perfectly :)

@AndrewGarrison I guess I just didn't see the signup limit for the past beta tests
Nice! Signed up for the iOS beta. Question though, why isn't it an open beta like usual for iOS?
