I’m so happy you finally made a max variant of your 737 aircraft. Despite how I feel about Boeing and the Max accidents at the moment, I have a soft spot for the 737.
what are the group numbers on this helicopter? I'd like to add some "aftermarket" doors on my Midge and would like to link up the doors with a number. I've noticed that 8 is the battery, 7 is the Nav lights, and 6 is the landing/spotlight. from what I see the others don't really seem to do anything but I'm not 100% sure.
@ReinMcDeer I had the same problem with the left sparrow dropping with tanks. from what I've found the decoupler on the sparrow (not the one in the pilon) has its activation on 5 when it should be Disabled, its a quick fix. Its also like that on the B variant.
I can’t be the only person who noticed that the paint schemes seem to be textures right? If that means what I think it means it’s going to make my life so much easier!
@ssenmodnar lol, asked the same question. Sense it’s a late version the glove vanes are going to be deactivated/welded shut. He did say he was thinking about making a early version though, which should have them.
@ReinMcDeer Only now did I see you said this was a late version, so not having it makes sense. From what I remember the late version had them removed because of their extremely high maintenance compared to its marginal returns in aerodynamics. Happy to see that you’re thinking of making the early version though. In my opinion the folded wings and glove vanes out looks really cool.
just curious, will you be adding the high speed glove vanes on this plane? considering the A model was the only one that had them, in my opinion it would be pretty cool to see.
@Robomo119E Oh yea, nvm I know that one. Acrea is my in universe version of the US. Think of it as Osea from the Ace Combat series. When I was making this livery I decided the turn my UAAF emblem into something reminiscent of the old USAAF emblems as it had it on the real one.
@YellowCrisps The Israel emblem? When I first created the UAAF emblem I didn't know what the Israel air force emblem looked like. The emblem is supposed to be two triangles and a ring, but in its low viz version it literally just looks like the Israel emblem. I'm to lazy to make a new one tbh.
@TheCommentaryGuy I hope not. for me this would make liveries a lot harder to make if the wings were custom. i kind of like the relative simplicity of his builds.
Also I’m curious if you ever plan on adding folding wings on naval aircraft you build in the future, in regards to part count it only adds a couple more parts. It would be a great feature to have as I love to take screenshots with your planes.
@DatMaluchGuy19 The images aren’t loading? That’s not good. I’m assuming you refreshed you page and was in a place with good internet correct? I’ll make sure to put links under the images when I’ve got the time.
Sense I first saw Flyout, I was in awe of how well the game looked. The plane builder is a lot more intuitive, the physics seem a lot more realistic, and it even has a livery editor. Literally something I’ve been wanting in SP for the longest time. I’m totally going to buy the game and try it out. For me though, it’s not going to replace SimplePlanes. I’ve heard the game has a steep learning curve and considering how ADHD I am, I’m probably going to take months just to finish one plane I’ll be proud of. SimplePlanes has a special place in my heart and considering I’m just now starting to put genuine effort into my builds to publish. I don’t want to abandon that. For me it’s just another new addition to my extensive library of plane games.
Wait this is that aircraft from that promo video I have in my liked videos on YouTube…
Crazy thinking it’s been 2 years sense I first saw it. I’m glad though that it’s finally been published.
Your aircraft are amazing, and I’m a big fan of your work. I know you’re busy because of University, but when you’ve got the time I’d love to see you branch out to more European aircraft. Like perhaps a typhoon remake or even the Rafale. You don’t have to though, I hate to beg. Regardless, keep up the good work. This MTD is great!
When I play on mobile the Load Aircraft bar doesn't load aircraft names for me. its been like this for me for about a year now and it makes it very difficult to choose a built without having to search for it.
@RepublicOfCursedPlanes This is true, and I understand That this game is old but man time sure does fly by. I've spent so much time on this game It's strange to see it finally mature. But just because the game won't be getting anymore major updates doesn't mean the game is dead. I'll make sure to stick around!
Oof, last update? I knew this day would come but man it kinda hurts. I've been playing this game for a good chunk of my highschool years and I have fond memories of how excited I used to get seeing new updates come out. I wish you and the team good luck on your next project!
Having a lot of fun with this aircraft. Just curious though, was this aircraft supposed to have trim? I see there’s an animation for the trim in the horizontal stabilizers but moving them doesn’t actually effect flight. Makes it pretty hard to aim the rockets on mobile without it.
Surprised with how little comments are on this post, so I’ll be the first to say this aircraft looks beautiful. It’s fuselage shaping is fantastic and gives it an elegant feel. It’s looks totally fit the NEUCOM and Gründer IG design philosophy.
@ZeroWithSlashedO yeesh, I’m afraid you might be disappointed. I’m going to be honest I would consider myself a new builder. As such I’ve never made custom missiles. I could try but I’m afraid it would either be too overpowered or underwhelming.
Just a quick question for everyone. Should I post my mini projects as stand alone, or just put them into my liveries and modifications forum post? Although I Don't like the idea of using others builds and posting them if not extremely modified, the Liveries and modifications post rarely caught anyone's attention. My 90+ liveries in that post took upwards of 2 years in total and I want others to enjoy my creations.
@BaconEggs Oh, I get it now. I'm still having the problem of the white wanting to lay over the black though. I'm trying to see if changing order of the color changes that but it isn't. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
@BaconEggs Ok I'm lost. I don't understand the code you've given me and its making it a bit difficult to add the code. First could you explain what the purpose of <br> is? I'm looking at some code on other aircraft and I notice its in some code but I don't understand its purpose or use? also in the example you've shown me I'm assuming the "<line-height=-0.1>" is the code that moves the layer ahead or behind? Its the only code that I've tried that doesn't seem to do anything on its own.
this is like the Viggen's long lost American cousin
+3single seat f-14 isn't real it can't hurt you
+2Single seat f-14:

+1I'm C all the way

Wow I’m early, gunna take these for a spin
you spoil us. two f-14 variants to mess around with at the same time is going to be fun. lots of work for my liveries though...
+1This is coming together nicely, can’t wait to get my hands on it
+1I can’t be the only person who noticed that the paint schemes seem to be textures right? If that means what I think it means it’s going to make my life so much easier!
SIMPLEPLANES 2 IS REAL!!!!!!!!!!
+1Yooooooo CFTs my beloved

Oh yes, ferris livery time. Just got the f-14a in War Thunder yesterday as well, what perfect timing.

@Robomo119E what’s the USAAC emblem? I’m not sure I know that one.

Only og’s remember when this was the giga chad enemy fighter

+1The urge to make the VF-301 livery for this is strong (funni premium phantom)
that tail decal looks so good ngl
“I AGREE!”

+1@PlayMinecraft A-4 Skyhawk in the ReinMcDeer style would be a dream come true, as it’s my favorite Vietnam war aircraft.
+1@DatMaluchGuy19 Oh, well that’s unfortunate.

I’ve got nothing witty to say, it’s my obligation as a furry myself to comment on this post 💀
+1As someone who’s also made a bronco/twin boom aircraft, I approve of this build. 💯
@HuskyDynamics01 huh, good to know. That sure is a weird shape for a carburetor air intake. Now I’m kinda curious how it looks like inside lol.
+2Update; even more confused...
Looking at other engine images and the turbocharger looking thing isn't there... I'm going to assume it doesn't have it

Wow, it’s stuff like this that make me excited for builds in the future. Wish I understood funky trees lol.
+1Excited for both of these builds. Was waiting for the viper zero to get a remake and seeing the MTD get a remake as well is great to see.
+1dang, this looks good. totally deserves a UpDoot
bug
