    @MrSilverWolf.
Honest question, did you even know what the full context was all about?
I know this is probably the least favourable place to talk about this but there currently isn't any better.
We were not merely arguing over something petty nor are we attacking/harassing someone just because we felt like it, but rather, we were trying to stop the 'bullshit' he's doing. A lot of people are tired of what he's up to (or had been up to). As BMilan has previously mentioned in his now-deleted comment explaining the situation, WCAC has had a track record of stealing, rule breakings and other misbehaviors. In addition, this has still happened even after being called out. HE IS a repeat offender.

Among other things, here is a list of things he's done on the site:
-Stealing without credit and auto-credit bypass (see Section 1)
-Mutual point-begging (upvote yours = upvote mine. See Section 2)
    -Misleading thumbnail (Section 3)
-Post re-upload without changes (Section 4)
    -Mass tagging (Section 5)

There are only a few things he has done in which he received little to no repercussions, a summary of sorts. I am trying to speak for everyone who he managed to rip off. This is NOT hate speech against WCAC, this is NOT meant to be harassment, nor is it defamation. This is meant for you, SilverWolf, to learn the context before hastily giving probable strikes and temporary bans. I know that this should no longer be talked about but we, and the other people who he manages to upset, some of whom wishes to remain anonymous, would probably agree to the accusations given above. I already am well-aware that this constitutes a strike but given the circumstances, I would gladly receive one.

*Section 1 (wasn't credit from Pancelvonat's Vehicle Pack)
    Case1 & Case2
*Section 2 (A strike was given for this)
(WCAC birthday post & An archived post regarding the matter)
    *Section 3
(Makima post & a removed one)
    *Section 4
    (Original & Re-upload)
    *Section 5
    (WCAC Birthday post)

These are only a few, more could follow when warranted.

  • Users of SP, What Are Trends That Started Getting Hate? 3 months ago

Not a trend but the people who acts like celebrities, spamming forums and creating a 'network' of followers that boosts them to Platinum. Platinum used to define some sort of experience (or mastery) of the game but now, you can easily reach it by being overly friendly with everyone, creating a cult of followers tailing them around to anything they post, and mass-tagging them by basically masking them as 'requested' or blatantly just tagging for the upvotes. Another is the fact that the forums section becomes a social-media section of this site. The mentality of people of 'I saw someone do it, then that means it's allowed' is becoming a trend or probably already is one. To top it all off is the recent trend about the build style of players. People thought that pumping out low-part, low-quality, low-effort builds would be equal to the principle of a 'PEA'. The phrase 'oh you're surprised because someone published a low-part plane in 'SimplePlanes and it became successful?' is not an argument, it shows that you lack the understanding of subject. This has been discussed a couple of times so I won't really continue way too deep about this but a low part count does not mean it's efficient.

  • PEA is the new brainrot 4 months ago

PEA is a good idea that are often executed horribly. While it is true that keeping the part count low is a feat, creating a good model for it is another. Most players (I assume) create PEAs to mass produce builds. PEAs that took effort to build are uncommon and those who make them actually exert effort to give it a somewhat-decent (or on-par) performance compared to other aircraft of similar model (which takes time). Mostly, PEAs are just builds that has low parts although lacks certain effort on the model itself. PEAs are 'annoying' because they are everywhere and because nearly everyone can create a horrible model and call it a PEA.
While I do not think that PEAs are terrible, there is an abundance of PEAs that really needs a lot effort.
I agree with you and it sucks that PEAs got out of hand so now everyone is on the bandwagon.

  • Opinion on low effort builds with very high recognition? 2 months ago

I am opposed to mediocre builds with high recognition, but not because I'm jealous of the points or 'angry' that they have surpassed my upvote count. That’s not always the issue. What concerns me is that if users think creating something mediocre can still give them fame, then there’s no reason for them to improve. If nothing challenges you, why bother?

Additionally, mediocre builds with high recognition often mislead people (not to say there have been no genuine ones). The mob mentality on this site is like moths to a flame as users flock to builds made by new or 'new' players since they can easily upvote/spotlight them (builds which are often decent at best). However, because they are made by new player (accounts), the bar is set way lower. I do not want to sound like an elitist on this site but if everyone gets the same 'overfriendly' treatment from everyone, they just might end up being some, if not a decent chunk of the community nowadays. You know what I mean.

    @X4JB
Damn, that just sounds like a superiority complex and high ego to me.
If it was indeed an unfinished build, you still gotta give the man props for finishing this in android. Not like you’d know anything about it, PC Master-Race bullshit my ass.
You gotta remember that getting featured lies in several things such as quality level, uniqueness (this is important) and even sometime due to the mod/dev’s (or anyone who features) likings. Don't act like a dick to someone just because ‘I had more upvotes’ or ‘I had a history of [better] nicer builds.’
Thats not proving a fucking point, thats proving that you overlook anyone’s effort just because they made [several] mistakes, and you’re a fucking dick to anyone who does the same just because you ‘didn't want it featured, the build is not perfect!!1!’
    .
I rest my case and place my point.

@WAR122, I get your point, but I would rather not call someone's work a mistake just because you're too wishful for it to be available on android. Also, op already considered android users as op already mentioned that it isn't mobile-friendly, either that he meant part count or due to the mod itself.

  • PzKpfw PANTHER ausf. G 3.5 years ago

@WAR122, it is not op's problem if you (or some people) cannot play his work, if you want to play op's craft, find ways for yourself. If you see using other mods as 'mistakes', you should reconsider commenting because you sound rude right now.

  • Variations : Spam Or Creativity ? 4 months ago

Firstly, variations are good, but only if the difference is noticeable (visually or performance wise). There is no rule about creating a variation of another build (saying the build is a replica that has different models) but if the variation of the build is simply the paintjob, a difference of propeller count, or none at all then it is just spam.
I am aware as to why this forum was created, and I understand it. No offense, but you even uploaded an unfinished version of the C-130 even though you could just have made an unlisted. If I were to guess, this is because you were near to being Platinum. Although again, I did not really check the variations you made from the C-130 so I cannot tell if it's either just spam or whatever it is you're trying to do.
Second, not because you were hit with a criticism, you are hated (or what you do is hated). Sometimes, you have to accept that criticism and not make a passive-aggressive forum post.

  • Any tips to get better at building stuff? 5 months ago

*Create a building style- As everyone have previously mentioned, time and experience is one of the best ways to improve your work.
*Explore different types of builds to create- Do not limit yourself when you're starting. Try to build things you have not yet made and remove the mindset of it not working.
*Compare your self from others- Often times, this may sound like a bad idea but creating a comparison of yourself to other builders (or your build to another user's build) is a great way to learn things you may have not discovered or tried. You could say that you should be making constructive criticism for yourself in order to improve.
*Asking for opinions on your recent builds- Most of the time, experienced users have several other friends in the site that supports their work and gives various opinion about builds they are working on. A good way to do this is to join Discord servers that encourages players to send their builds. This way, you could ask people regarding the things it might need in order to be improved.
*Take your time- You are not a mass-production factory. Make sure that your builds are up to your own standards before uploading. This way, you can feel more accomplished on your work and be encouraged to create better ones.
*Download other users' builds and test them- Mimicking other users' builds is not a problem. I myself have copied techniques of other users in order to create some of my works.
*Proficiency on certain parts- Not all parts are made to do just one purpose. Some may be useful on other things such as the refueling drogue for example. With extra editing, you can make the refueling drogue be a steering wheel for a car with just one part.
Most importantly, always consider improvement. You are not perfect, the things you build will not be perfect, and the previous users before you are not perfect, too. Always strive for things that you can improve.
