The explosions in this game is just... Weird. Sometimes one part explodes and just damages the nearby part sometimes leaving a big gap, and the other times it just blows you into pieces, no questions.
The missile itself needs alot of rework to make it at least semi-realistic. Like:
Finite fuel. There's already an option for that, but the missile just dies after fuel goes out.
proxy as standard option.
Active Radar Guided needs to go to "pitbull" in order to track it's target by it's own. Meaning it acts as a semi-active before a certain range, and goes active when it reaches a certain range.
Faster lock time.
Able to collect data of a Missile's position. For RWRs and stuff. Just generally increase SA.
I once made a challenge and I made the rules a bit too strict. This one is definitely a worse case than mine.
rule complaints:
1. You want high quality builds or nah? If yea, that 70 part requirement is not gonna get you anywhere. Even my simple MiG-29 is at a staggering 95 parts. Hell, my actual good simple build, F-14B AND Su-33 is at 128 (F-14) and 181 (Su-33) parts. Too strict. Lag issues? Play at low physics.
2. Not everyone knows how to make that, you know. Too strict.
3. I'm assuming "good armor" means it can withstand a blast attack, which is impossible with such low parts. Extremely, impossibly strict.
4. How do you even make shields that functions like an actual shield? Impossible to do.
5. Not possible. If a part collided with another part, either both will be utterly destroyed and blow you with your enemies up, or anticlimactically damage your craft with the enemy craft. Impossible to do.
6. No complaints about rule 6.
7. Again, not everyone knows how to do that. Too strict.
8. While this is plausible, it's very hard to pull off. Not saying it's impossible, but it ain't easy in any way.
Deadline's too short. 23rd of April is long enough? Ha! Think again! One week ain't enough my dude. An acceptable challenge deadline is approximately 3+ weeks from the day it was started. A good deadline time is around a month after the challenge started.
From what I've heard, Ukrainian-Russian conflict is ended in Ukrainian victory. Anyhow, it's best to not talk about the conflict.
@OrderlyHippo
Just a heads up, it's not really good... especially from the external view...
The best thing I can think of is make the whole plane out of glass, set opacity to 100, and disable the inside view. After that you can color the glass with what you want.
What the hell happened to this comment section, it's filled with almost jokes.
Oh and, honestly, I'd vibe for SP2. I dunno, it feels like it's required at this point.
Yes. Fox 2s would also be nice. At this point, like Kangy said, weapons need a massive overhaul.
Hell yeah.
More thing I want to add:
HMCS. Please, I really want an HMCS that doesn't ruin my Flight Data.
Same idea as AeroBuddy's, wings just need a bit more detail.
Stealth fuselage. I swear to god it's impossible to make a stealth fuselage without putting width and height dimensions the same, or do a copius amounts of panelling just to get the shape right, and you can't even make a cockpit out of the simple stealth fuselage technique because you can't even do a correct fuselage cutting with it anymore.
Tones. Custom tones, more specifically. I wanna hear Bitchin Betty's complainin' about my piloting skills.
Airports feels too dead. Maybe add some car models to make it look better.
Better AI. AI have no grasp of energy management whatsoever, and due to the complete bs that is default planes, It's barely going to affect the speed of what the AI would be doing. Either they do so well that they'll literally rip you so fast or stay in the fight for too long until you run out of fuel, or they do so bad that they'll just dive into the water without a fight. And when they're on the ground, they will try to takeoff in anyway possible.
Ship. Parts. I don't know anything about ships, but having a catapult, arresting wire parts, engines, and more would be a nice present to ship builders.
Fix. The. Yaw. Physics. I don't care if it shakes my plane side to side after yawing, just please make it actually have an effect on our flight path.

I have three options.
1. Simplest. Make the "max" on the engine a higher number than 1. But this also makes your aircraft go faster.
2. Simple, and easy implementation. But it also slows the deceleration. Add "throttleResponse" to the "Engine" part of the engine xml.
2. A funky expression somebody gave to me. Easy to implement, and can make different acceleration to the deceleration. And that code is:
smooth(clamp01(Throttle), Throttle ? 1/X : 1/Y )
X being spool up time
Y being spool down time
IR stuff, please, I've been craving for this. At least an IRST and a Fox-2.
More sounds. The vanilla sounds in SP is like underwhelming. There's no sonic boom, missiles are loud as frick compared to jet engines from afar, no RWR tones except getting locked, cannon's don't have that menacing sound, and no other tones instead of the base one.
Laser guided bombs and missiles. We. Need. This.
Procedural parts. Why does SR2 gets all the fun? Not fair!
Tank tracks. Honestly not a tank fan (doesn't mean I hate it), but so many people asked and tank lovers will be delighted about this.
Reduce damage on missiles and cannons, they're kinda op now that I think about it. Also, missiles should have proxy explosion as basic so it just doesn't ram the opposition and tore them to absolute shreds. Also also, missiles at bay should not explode when it gets hit unless it directly impacts something at high speed.
I'm surprised nobody mentioned this, but nerf CMs. They're still overpowered.
Me, it's so weak that it can't even handle NFS:C at medium graphics lmao
Hell, even AC2 is lagging
And AC3
So much so I had to play it on my old phone and my old phone is way less laggy, it only got like 2GB of RAM bruh
When it pitches too hard for too long, it just rolls uncontrollably
This is because your tail has too much weight on it. Reduce it, or increase the weight of the nose.
Although it does reduce your maneuverability, it increases your stability.
Honestly, yeah, it sucks.
One of my favorite artists stopped making comics because his work was plagiarized everywhere.
I seriously hate those guys. I really hope they burn in hell.
Attitude gauge
I'm honestly happy with the Attitude gauge. They don't really have any use on Modern Aircrafts, because the Ball Attitude Indicator is what is commonly used.
Glitch
The glitch is pretty annoying, and I don't experience it in other parts other than the Fuselage type blocks. Pretty annoying, but pretty easy to fix. Just point your cursor to another fuselage block, and then point back to where the bug happen.
Airliner Throttle
While I slightly disagree with this (since you could just make a custom throttle stick using a joystick base, fuselage block, and grabable part), it could be a bit more convenient.
@ALTMTR One, I did. Two I did. It sometimes just didn't have the same impact. Three There's guns, they're not good at it but it's still a weapon. Hell, sometimes they just hit me with a missile right in the face just because he fired multiple, and my Countermeasure just doesn't work sometimes, ironically.
First of all, collect data. Get to know your aircraft first and how much speed does it starts to stall. Then get a beacon light or a text.
If you get a beacon light, use this: GearDown ? 0 : (IAS<(whatever speed it was)). Haven't actually tested it yet, but I'm sure it'll work.
If you get a text, type this: {GearDown ? "(put fcs ready or smth you want here)" : (IAS<again, whatever speed it was> ? "STALL" : "(smth you want here)}. Again, haven't actually tested it, but it revolves around speed.
Damage part indicator is possible, but it is way beyond my reach.
Again possible, but beyond my reach.
Currently unable. The only way for a parking brake is to just hold down the brake until the day you die or restart the sandbox.
Autopilots are pretty hard to do. The only thing I could think off is the PitchRate/40, and trim up input. While yes, it is possible with gyro, but gyro doesn't let you turn. Well, at least that's my impression after using it for once and never again.
