Very good first map ! You should put your runway object into "terrain" layer, to prevent wheels to go through the ground. You can also place your terrain at -100m to hide the big square under water.

@mikoyanster I did the same with simple objects, (with Unity 5.3), just set the limit between LODs at the distance you want to make it disappear. You can add simple primitives to replace buildings by adding another render group for more complex objects. For example, replacing this bridge by a simple cube by adding new render group. Hope this will be useful.
@TTL It works only on stock map airports and on USS beast, to make it work on modded maps you need to add variables with new coordinates or just remove the coordinates restriction in the "AIRPORT" variable

Looks nice but you forgot to enable the fog. You can easily do it in render settings/environment/ check the fog box and save your mod, it will make it work with the in-game fog.

For the defensive turrets I used a missile with no power and 360° detection range, so the ai fires the missile, switch to the cannons and keep FireWeapons pressed. After that you just need an auto aim and angle limitation for cannons.

+2@ValtTeck i always play with hud off, so i use guns and cannons against aircrafts in air to ground mode.
+2I suggest you add a rigidbody componement to the balloon in the living room!

+1@BaconEggs Yes, there's an "exclusion" tab, Just write "Default" in it and it should only show in the default map.
+1@Bogey I use variables too, but mine is based on the rounds per seconds for each gun and the time FireGuns or FireWeapons is pressed.
