@SemTrex thank you! I'll keep the suggestion in mind as I work on other stuff, but no promises for quality since honestly I'm not exactly the best tank maker lol
@Hahahahaahahshs same, I’m still shocked that there hasn’t been a single other M36 uploaded to the site since I made the first one over a year ago until recently
(And turns out they’re a l s o by me)
@Zead Here's a version with the aiming system exposed (and colored in red) just so you can get an idea of where everything is supposed to go (The yellow piston for the commanders view is just there to show where to pick it up)
You'll also need the "UP1," "UP2," and "Direction" variables on it btw
@llDeadboyll Honestly I don’t think that’d work. I’ve tried to make AI carriers before for the LHI series, but as far as I know you can’t make the planes work separately since all of the inputs/variables are still in relation to the main build even if they’re added to the individual planes. (the ship) Therefore even if you wanted one of the planes to just follow you for example, no matter where the plane is, it’d act like it’s still on the carrier and fly “towards” you as if it was. Don’t really know how to explain, but I don’t think I’m good enough with ft for it anyway lol
Here's the final video of the carrier shenanigans trilogy showcasing lots of violence. would've liked to get some more SBD action but they are a pain to fly honestly. Nothing much else to say here really.
((sorry for lower than usual quality, no clue why that is))
.
Oh yeah I forgor
@llDeadboyll not too sure, but at the very least before the month ends. (probably) There are a few things I still gotta tweak, and I have to add the hellcats as well
@dekanii that exposed bit is actually the opening for another flight deck, which kinda made sense at the time considering bi planes like the swordfish don’t need as long of a flight deck, and the more planes taking off the better. Pretty sure the Japanese experimented with the multiple flight deck concept with Akagi at some point too, she had 3 separate ones in 1927 lmao.
Definitely doesn’t seem conventional now, but the courageous class as a whole was weird in general anyway.
@dekanii it shouldn’t be too hard, I remember there was a shipbuilder that deleted their account that made really good functioning low part carriers and other ships with like less than 500 parts. It’s a really cool concept generally. Here’s HMS Courageous by them that I have saved
@dekanii yeah, right now it’s 1234 (hmmm) parts cause I originally made it for myself and didn’t really have part efficiency in mind lol. After I add the hellcats I’ll see how many parts there are and try to remove as many parts as possible
(As well as make versions with less planes)
Another slightly longer than socially acceptable video showing off taxing, the elevators/hangar, and recovery operations on the carrier thing. (Ignore my terrible landing plz) Keep in mind this is an older project that I only recently remembered existed and wanted to showcase, so a lot of things will definitely fine tuned before potential release.
Also, there'll probably be 1 more video posted soon showcasing an attack on the USS Tiny 2 fleet or something, so yeah

ok shleepy tiem again
Here's 6 minutes and 40 seconds of carrier operations cause why not
This is made off of Blyatnov's USS Independence and is kind of just a worse version of Bogey's carriers lol. It includes working elevators and a hangar too, (as well as an unlimited number of functional aircraft technically) so it can be used as a fully functional carrier. (Yes the aircraft can attack things and land and stuff I just didn't want the video to be too long)
SBDs are also made by Blyatnov here
Avengers are made by pancelvonat here
ok it's 12am I go to sleep bye happy 4th of July my fellow patriots
@dekanii nice, I’d recommend looking here for ft and stuff. The beehive shells were anti aircraft shells that could be fired from Yamato’s 18inch guns (as well as a few other calibers on different ships) although they were pretty ineffective irl
@dekanii can’t exactly do anything about that sadly, the entire point of the lock delay was to fix this, since the missile is supposed to fire first before anything, but SP will be SP I guess…
(Atleast it doesn’t happen every time)
@DISHWASHER2005 looks good! Now I’m imagining making a space battleship Yamato for the AI along with this that has lasers and stuff lol
(Although the part count would be through the roof considering the AA takes up like 75% of the part count on these. The original Yamato build is only 400 parts lol)
The thing is about 80% done, (969 parts in) just gotta add the open type 89 mounts and a few more type 96s, as well as the beehive shells for the big gunz eventually. Just wanted to show that I'm actually working on stuff.
(and also to try out recording on laptop)
@TheUltimatePlaneLover yes, he has returned to his roots!
@SemTrex thanks :)

@llDeadboyll yeah, I’m excited to see what SP2 will bring in terms of stuff like that

T, awesome!
@dekanii yep, early carrier development is really interesting to me

@dekanii yeah lol, I rarely ever build my own crafts at this point, it’s all just modifications

@TheUltimatePlaneLover lol, I'll definitely be making a light version of this that hopefully has somewhat reduced device-destroying capability
